Dave Meltzer is reporting that WWE suspended ten performers today based on information that the company received from investigators in the Albany, NY district attorney’s office. While the names of the performers have yet to be released, it should be fairly obvious within the next week at least who some of them are.

Apparently the suspensions are based on information on superstars that were using Signature Pharmacy or another Internet prescription service prior to WWE’s implementation of the Wellness Policy. WWE has informed all talent that starting on November 1st the company will release the names of anyone suspended because of Wellness violations.

Hi Bubba here, looks like they are going to need some filler for RAW, SMACKDOWN, and ECW. I reckon we will have to wait and see who's missing.
Slash
That doesn't make much sense if they are banning them to for using before the wellness policy. But i'm not going to complain... good to see the wwe bringing down the hammer so to speak.

WWE Lawyer Confirms Suspensions, More Suspension To Come
08/30/2007
- WWE Lawyer Jerry McDevitt just appeared On The Record with Greta on The Fox News Channel and had a few interesting things to say. He confirmed that 10 WWE stars have been suspended but did not name any names. When Greta asked him why they haven't released the names, he dodged the question and said that in the future WWE will release names in a situation like this.

He said 2 more WWE superstars still have to be interviewed and he expects 2 more WWE superstars to be suspended tomorrow.

Furthermore, McDevitt said the NFL will be releasing names of players linked to the scandal in a few days.

This realy sucks.
Sanguin
it REALLY sucks.

With all those guys out, what's WWE going to do?

The eleven names in the article are Randy Orton, Charlie Haas, Adam Copeland (Edge), Robert Huffman (King Booker), Shane Helms, Mike Bucci (the now retired Simon Dean, who is not on the active roster and works in talent development), Anthony Carelli (Santino Marella), John Hennigan (ECW Champion John Morrison), Darren Matthews (William Regal), Ken Anderson (Kennedy) and Chavo Guerrero.

It is important to note that the list of names in the Daily News article is NOT the list of the ten wrestlers that were suspended today, and is NOT an indication of any illegal actions on their part. This list is simply wrestlers that were clients of the Signature Pharmacy. When we have more information on this story, we will report it.

I cant be bothered to make a new thread about this so ill post it here.

WWE talent executive Mike "Simon Dean" Bucci was released today by WWE

Bucci worked as a high-up in all the developmental territories. Dave Scherer is reporting that the word among the wrestlers is that Bucci was called in for a meeting today by WWE in the wake of his name being mentioned by the The New York Daily News yesterday as being someone on the list of workers named in the Signature Pharmacy growth enhancing drug scandal.

Bucci's dealings with Signature took place when he was still an active wrestler, not a manager.

WWE lawyer Jerry McDevitt confirmed to Newsday late Friday that one more WWE Superstar has been suspended for violating the WWE Wellness Policy, bringing the total to eleven. As it stands now, ten of the suspensions are for 30 days and one suspension is for 60 days, because it is the wrestler's second offense.

shouldn't these suspensions last 3 months for the first offense and the second for a year
and the third offense fired and can't come back

people like Smackdown for the fact that it's more of Wrestling we want that from wwe
Raw's so called entertainment bores me

but you see dont back down they should be in trouble people also have TNA as an option

The wwe would be screwed then. They won't do anything to seriously.

Spoiler:
Why John Morrison lost his title

John Morrison lost the ECW World Championship at the ECW tapings on 9.1 because Morrison is obviously being suspended for taking several drugs.

John Hennigan, a/k/a Johnny Nitro, a.k.a. Johnny Morrison, is the current WWE Extreme Championship Wrestling's heavyweight champion. Between June 2006 and February 2007 he was prescribed somatropin, anastrozole, testosterone, stanozolol and chorionic gonadotropin. (HCG is taken by anabolic steroid users to stimulate the production of testosterone, which is suppressed as a result of steroid use.)

Ok involves ecw and the whole drug thing dont read unless you wana know.

During the meeting before the ECW/SmackDown! tapings yesterday, Batista asked Stephanie McMahon what he could do legally about his name being included in the recent media reports, citing publicly in front of the crew that he had never received anything from the online pharmacy companies. Stephanie told him that was an issue he and his attorneys should look into, also mentioning that she was under the impression he was already doing that (which would mean a civil lawsuit seeking damages).

Batista claims that there was no connection between him and the pharmacies and he is very upset at Sports Illustrated and other media outlets for reporting his name.

My sister is obsessed with Batista. She said that He's been lifting weights since he was like, 12. He used to be a a body builder, but quit beacause he was taller than everyone else, and thus looked smaller.

I know people around older than batista that have lifted longer and harder. Nobody can maintain that form with that work schedule without some help.
