Never been to this message board before, but I HAD to write in about O'Hara/Maggie Lawson. I thought, surely, there would be a recent thread about her. I though surely this BEAUTY must have her admirers. But no, sadly nothing recent. So I will try (no lack of inspiration here!).

In Praise of Maggie

Fresh-faced and smiling, she greets us weekly,
Her hair like spun gold, my troubles undone.
To a beauty like hers, I'd give my heart meekly,
Look not to the east--Juliet IS the sun!

Facing cases in comic consternation,
O'Hara's learning detective skills.
Each expression of hers a fascination--
Inspiration; my heart, in seeing her, thrills!

At Lassiter's bluster, she rolls her eyes,
Thankful for Shawn and Gus's divining.
(Divine eyes they are, for to my surprise,
Each week those eyes like jewels are shining...)

So to Maggie, I pay my praises,
From her angelic face my wages paid.
Beguiling, she's a beauty of the ages,
Humbly, at her feet these praises laid.

Disclaimer: (to be read in one of those really fast, but low voices, that comes in at the end of a car commercial on the radio like: 'Blabababababababababa certainrestictionsmayapply.') I'm not some crazy-obsessive-wierdo, nor am I related to/linked to Maggie in any way (and trying to bolster her career, for example, though she deserves it).

Maggie is great. She brings a certain spark to Juliet (Jules) O'Hara. Although her character is driven with police procedure, she has a soft spot for Shawn and Gus. She goes to them when all else fails: She went to them in "Shawn vs. Red Phantom", and "Scarry Sherry: Bianca Toast." Lassiter and her have jelled as partners this season; agruing who should wear the bulletproof vest. So, Maggie is essential to the show, so you have every right to praise her.
