The Final Approach site has added pictures and trailer for the movie Final Approach in which AMH plays a terrorist hijacker named Gilliad. The movie will be aired on April 6th, 2008 on the Hallmark Channel.

Brief Synopsis
FBI hostage rescue specialist Jack Bender's unique skills are challenged when he finds himself aboard a domestic flight hijacked by a radical organization called the People's Separatist Movement. One ground, Jack's ex-wife, an FAA employee, discovers that the terrorists motives are tied to visions of nuclear grandeur, and there's only way to stop them—by blowing the airliner out of the sky.

Thanks for the pictures... I read the full summary on the site, and it looks really good. AMH as a bad guy? Wow... that should be interesting... Too bad it doesn't air until April.

The date has been pushed to a later date, it was first planned to be aired this month I believe. So now we've got to wait longer. I sure hope Hallmark Channel Europe will air it too, otherwise I'll have to wait for the release of the DVD.

Yup Mike plays a bad guy, and he does it good. LOL As we remember from Edward Scissorhands and Death Artist, although in that movie he wasn't that bad, just a little bit nuts.

In fact Mike played the bad guy quite often now that I remember.

I haven't seen any of those movies?!? Well, I did see part of Edward Scissorhands, but that was a long time ago, and I don't even remember Mike in it.

He plays such a kind, compassionate guy in the DZ (you know, always saving people, risking his life), so it'll be weird for me to see him as some evil, hijacker with a gun...

Well, let's not rush April, lol, as awesome as this movie sounds... I can wait; I think. It will probably be here before I know it, if I keep myself busy.

As I said Mike is great as a bad guy, very intense. Which is what one of the actors told us too. Austin Brooks, He's been talking to us over on the IMDB boards and he said that Mike was so intense at times he was was scared he was going to get his behind kicked.

But as I said in Death Artist he's not really a bad guy, just a bit of a unstable guy that ends up killing people and making them into art so he's liked. In the end you even feel sorry for him. But man does Mike play that role good.

I really love all that Mike has done, It's great to see him grow up and also grow in his craft through the years.

Michael does a fabulous job playing the cold sociopath. His performance is the best part of films like Hijacked, Flight 285 and The Death Artist. This is familiar ground for him but I have to wonder what the poor fellow thinks of being cast as the heavy in films like this. Just once I want to see him in the Dean Caine part. I suppose playing crazy allows for more opportunities but you want to like his character, not just his portayal. Below is one of my personal favorites from the site:
