This was by far one of the best yet, even though my Tom is bad now. I am going to stay up and watch it again. A lot of answers. Looks like the bad guys did create Isabelle, because of Lily's grams and Richard. Cassie is one of them. The entities, can be transfered from person to person. Kyle is either going to have to kill Shawn or looks like Tom beat the crap out of him in the preview for next week. And yet so so so so many more questions. Do you think Jordan is doing the BAD PFTF's work? Or is he doing the Good PFTF's work and Tom is going to try to kill him?

Presuming Tom's visions were correct, yes... they hoped the two would connect.

She sure acted that way! Man, she was harsh with Kyle. And it certainly looks like she is NOT an ability, which so many of us had guessed.

Based on what we've been told about the Marked, and how Tom acted tonight, I am going with the Marked being the bad PFTF, and since they are against Jordan, that Jordan is on the side of the "good" PFTF (if either side is actually good, that is!)

Here is my theory. The Good PFTF have abilities, the Bad people use technology. The good pftf want to get rid of non- ability people in their time. The bad pftf want to survive. The good pftf take 4400, make them P+ and send them back, trying to create more P+s so that eventually that is all there are. Jordan is suposed to "get rid" of those who can't survvie it. The Bad people want to survive so the come back to try to stop that from happening. So basically, as Jordan said. "The war for the future will be fought in the past." So they are all bad, because they are using the present people to hash out their problems.

Well, now were getting to the good stuff. I am glad that Isabelle is going to (hopefully) be getting her abilities back. I know we have guys (and girls) on here that like the "good" Isabelle. Me, I like her when she has that fire, that spunk, you know, when she doesn't take any stuff from anybody. She just seemed so much more interesting when she was "bad." There are definitely more possibilities for her with her abilities back! As for Tom- good move making him give in to "The Mark." Wonder how Diana's going to like the new Tom? I really wish Shawn would stop whining like a little baby! If people want to take the Promicin shot, let them. You can't say that nobody understands the risks (what part of 50/50 chance of dying don't you understand?) because they are clearly explained when you get it. I, too wonder if Tom is going to beat the crap out of Kyle.

I'm not particular to trucks or truckers but I LOVE that show. It has been on all day. Marathon of episode 1 to tonights season finale (on right now).
I have watched it every Sunday at 10:00 (after our favorite show) on The History Channel.

EasyMac, you made many interesting points. I think your last point is critical. It seems difficult to describe either faction from the future as good, if the interests of humans living in the present matter. Jordan's vision of extinguishing promicin - humanity is essentially genocide for those who cannot survive promicin. And, the Marked seem to be no better than Jordan in how they devalue human life in the present.

I am not sure how I view Shawn, but he seems to be on the "right" side.

As for Kyle, I still would describe Cassie as his ability even though it is an ability to communicate with PFTF who apparently are manipulating him big-time.

I've gotta go with the Butter Pecan. BTW "Ice Road Truckers" is pretty good. Nothing like a semi hauling tons of equipment fall through the ice (or watch a rookie almost lose his job for speeding on ice).

I have turned so many people on to The 4400 because I tell them to not only look at it for the entertainment value, you have to look at it for what it says about our society. By society, I mean worldwide-not just the USA. The P+'s want everybody to be like them; the P-'s are so afraid that they'll be wiped out that they probably wouldn't mind extinction of the positives (or incarceration at the very least). That would put him in an awful predicament, if Cassie and some other future identity showed up at the same time. Kyle really, sincerely wants to be a part of the movement so it would literally tear him apart. I like the analogy of the Devil and the Angel on each shoulder. I do think there are several factions we may or may not have seen them all yet. It seems from this epie that all the marked ones want to do is survive in the future. Because of what Jordan started they are the "diseased" ones marked for termination because they cannot exist in a world with promicin folks thus setting a 2nd class struggle of those that have and those that do not have.
Either way the marked ones seem to be purests of the time line where as the future folks seem to do what ever they feel like doing . So it truely is hard to say who is the evil doers. Both are messing with events.
There are old issues ideas sci fi theories that if you mess with primorital time then you can erase your own history your family's history and change history.
While we haven't necessarily seen permanent affects of where the writers are going yet they are getting so convaluted that the casual viewer may just go /gee yeek change channel time.
It was lovely seeing Rhicard with lily and izzy again. But it was just a teaser.....

I loved this epi, especially with Richard, Isabelle and Lily. I still think that Richard did the right thing, the only reason he "grew" her up again was because the "vision" that we know was controlled by Cassie/kyle, told him too. Because the Marked need Isabelle to be adult, get her abilities back and kill the Originals and the extra crispies. Maybe by her being a child she will have gained more "humanity" and will not be played by either side. Wouldn't it be interesting if she stopped the War?

Ah man, how tender were those Richard and Lily scenes? There's something about seeing a big man close to tears.

Ya, M. Ali, is a great actor. And it doesn't hurt that he is so damn hot. I love seeing him with baby Isabelle. Just soo sweet.

I don't know where else to put this, but now I'm pretty sure Meghan's promotion was pulled by the Marked. I don't think Meghan knows though, and I think she's innocent.

I agree, and you know how much I hate saying this, but she MAY be good. I am leaving room for doubt. LOL isn't that aweful.

Well, I'm going to go with they (the writers) intended for Tom to be the Hero in this show and they will "fix it" by season end. If they don't have a season 5 and he is still bad at the end of this I will be beside myself. I have to admit, I don't like him bad, but I like the bad boy attitude. Since the beginning, he has been through just about everything and always a softy. This adds some character to his character. It;s a different side. But, Iwant the softy back at some point.

I believe once the Marked enters you, you're erased completely. That doesn't look good for Tom, so hopefully I'm wrong. That leaves two other options.

1) Tom is shoved in the corner of his own mind, watching as this bad guy takes over, helpless to stop him.
2) He's sort of asleep, kind of like in a coma. Comas seem to be a family trend with him, so why not?

And off topic, but I was glad we finally got to see how Isabelle was created, and now we know for sure that she wasn't the abductors' idea.

Hmm, let's look at the Marked for a second:

Imroth- control of the technology sphere
Parrish- control of the political sphere
Matthew Ross/Tom- control of the ultimate weapon
that Pope guy they showed in the Peck film- control of the religious sphere

And these are the four Marked we know about. Imagine how horrible the other six, unknown Marked are.

Also, let it be known I'm not happy with the writers. I'm forgiving them for now, since it's not Tom being evil, but the entity implanted inside of him. All I need to say is... he better get exorcised by Shawn and soon.

(OOC: When Shawn finally exorcises Tom's entity, will it be destroyed, or will it be sent back into the future, only to be implanted again into some unlucky soul. If it is the latter, then I can see how an army of 10 could be much stronger than their numbers. Remember the old cliche: When at first you dn't succeed, try, try, again. )

Ya know PJ, I think if it's exorcised, it'll be sent back. Clearly they're tough to kill. Tom himself stated that he was Matthew's entity. Matthew Ross was dead, but the terd possesing him wasn't. Now let's bump up that "Gee I Feel Sorry For Matthew" thread!
