The trailer for this epi shows Sam getting physical. This should be interesting. Can't wait!!!

Count down to BN. Hopefully Sam gets to shine in this one. BTW, I just got the Army of Darkness DVD. So, I'll get a chance to see Sam in something beside BN and the Old Spice commercials.

Hi Bubba here, another great episode tonight. Steven Bauer was a great star. I liked his performance on Nash Bridges, a few years back. We didn't see Veronica in tonight's episode though, maybe we will see her in the episode two weeks from now.

What are your thoughts on tonight's episode?

8. Sam's "Ladyfriend!" (I love it when he calls her that!)
9. Sam the super-hero-robin-hood-kind-of-guy (damn, Sam looked good this episode!)
10. "Halliburton? I don't know him…"
11. Number of times Sam says 'brother': 1
12. Number of times Nick Lam says 'bro': 1,2,3,4,5,6,7 oh I give up
13. Number of times Nick Lam says 'dude': 1 (only once? really?!)
14. Polo shirt count: green w/ stripe; blue; black (penguin!) and white (I'm loving the polos!)
15. The car scene: Nick trying to unlock the door
16. The mall scene: Mike rockin the shades!
17. Fi's men's shirts with big buttons! lol
18. Michael chases Lucio & runs into car – ow!
19. Fortunately fragile psychological states are a speciality of Fiona's
20. Sam & the lil doggy!
21. Armani suit! niiicccee
22. Fi's awkward pat on the back to console Nick – and Michael walking in on them & trying to escape before getting noticed
23. Super-star guest-stars! Reyes, Lucio & Perry Clark the bureaucrat all rocked!
24. The entire end fight - Masterful!!! Unexpected!!! Well done! BEST. SCENE. EVER.
25. Michael (while being choked): Wow – you're pretty good.
26. ps-duct tape!
27. Fi: So I'm not allowed to be concerned – to worry?
Michael: You can worry about me.
Fi: Like Nick worried about Dawn? He was head over heels in looove…
Michael: Hopefully not like that.
28. Michael: Happy Birthday, Fi.

YAY! ...Alas, no mom sad.gif

Don't know if you watched it yet, but Army of Darkness is hilarious. Bruce is the best in this. That's the movie I first saw him in after Brisco County Jr., also a great show.

This episode was fantastic! I like Jeffrey with no shirt, with a shirt, etc...
I also thought it was hilarious with the "Ya, Bitch" part with Bruce. Great!

I KNEW there would be a break in the show when the end was not a promo for the next week. I guess I will just have to sit around the next few weeks and re-watch the 5 episodes I have taped over and over again. In fact, I shall do that tonight after I get home from work and watch Monk and Psych. Yeah, I'll do that.

Totally LOVE this show and I rush home every Thursday to watch it. My husband and I have declared it our new FAVORITE show and hope that it continues for years to come - especially if the scripts are always as good as they have been.

BTW - love the chemistry between Michael and Fiona, and Michael without a shirt . . . what can I say, he looks hot

Add my name to the list of Jealous people who wanted to be that masseusse. How the He** did she get that job. Poor Mikey, all busted up at the end and that poor little neck. Awwwwwwwwwwwwwww. They better just continue showing Burn Notice til it starts again. Otherwise I will have to admit myself to a withdrawal detox foundation. How can they do this in the middle of Summer. ARGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And yeah, as discussed even Sam looked Stylin'. But Nick was too annoying. He reminded me of a guy I met and went out with when I was in Hawaii on vacation. He was a pro surfer at the time. Yeah, I fell flat on my butt trying to surf. They should have had Mikey take a boogie board out and Nick try to get him up on that thing. NOW that would have been a MUST SEE TV as well. smile.gif The workout scene, hope the weight wasn't too much for him to handle. But D**N, that massage.

Hey Maryanne29, I just sent you a message back. I forgot to add that I know USA replays the episode on Saturdays at 7pm Eastern time, not sure if it is the same everywhere, but in Michigan that's what is played. Not sure where you are, but they replay it then and then I think Monday, early, early in the morning. Hope that helps too.

I squealed when he came out in the towel! And I loved how after the kidnappers left Michael suddenly realized he still had the masseuse on the clock! Now there's working a job! And Sam did look nice under cover. But I wonder where they got the little dog.

And I love how they've been playing out Michael and Fiona's relationship. At first I'm like, aww they're strolling on the beach holding hands! Wait, it's Michael and Fiona. Something's fishy here. And like any woman, Fiona expects her man to remember her birthday and get her something nice...like a gun with a bow on it. blink.gif The end shot was nice.

You don't have to buy it. It's given to you as part of the package for free!

I liked how they were just hanging out at his loft, Fiona eating on his bed and Michael working out. Then afterwards, she's there to help him fix the cabinet door and worry about him. I like how they are comfortable with each other in the middle of death defying action and not.

And I can't wait for Michael to take sam up on the car offer.

Agreed - lots of "moments" last night. I don't think anyone has mentioned yet the scene just before Michael starts with the weights, as he's coming down the stairs and talking on the phone to the Fed, all the while he's putting on that white wife-beater T-shirt - oh that chest and those abs!!

I also loved the part during the massage scene, where Michael is supposedly having this serious talk with Reyes as a hostage negotiator, and Michael turns his head and says "Sweetie, can you go a little bit lower and to the left? I've got a trouble spot right..... Yeah, right there". Classic Michael!

My boyfriend has been out of town for a couple of months and hasn't seen the show. He stayed up all night watching it. He really likes it. We are going to watch all 9 of the epis tonight. I didn't miss out on the whole staircase shirt thing. But it's hard to speak when you're DROOLING!! and speechless. As for watching every epi again. Don't eat at the same time. I think I heard the scream clear across to the west coast. LOL!!! I choked on my iced tea. I thought this epi was just an overload of testosterone. Two HOT scenes!!!! Towel and muscle shirt work-out.

Yes, finding out if the masseuse was still on the clock was hilarious. I loved the little smirk. Hey, he has a tough job. Also, when he asked her to massage a little lower on his left side. Oh to be that girl for just 5 seconds. Mmm Mmm good!!!!

Loved Sam. The little dog thing was so funny!!!! He looked at that dog as if it were a rat. LOL!!!

As far as Mike and Fi are concerned, this is a good as it gets with Michael. He won't be that forth coming with his feelings in words. He's a man of action. To him the snow globe and the gun demonstrated his feelings for her. His telling her it was okay to worry about him was as emotional as you will see him.

Ok, about that massage scene. Did anyone else AFTER watching it over and over, get a flashback to the Friends episode where Feebi (sp), was a masseusse (sp) and she was giving some guy a massage and then kept getting lower and bit his A$$! I was actually waiting for that scene but like I said before D*MN! wish I was that girl. Get her off the set she ain't no fan, just some twit wanting to be an actress. Nice scene to put on a resume though. I wanna be her sub for when I kicik her sorry butt out of any other scenes like that. smile.gif

I think he was totally covert op - but he was great playing the "beauracrat" - had me fooled - or, actually, had me distracted - giving JD all that action certainly keep me too busy to think about that lil pencil-pusher causing so much trouble. I was hoping he wouldn't die at the end & that we'd seem them tussle again! ah well...

I was just really amazed he could do that with a thin phone to his ear!

Out of that scene I loved how he was stabbing his forehead with the phone then not even getting to work out, he nearly falls over answering the phone.

I'm fine with that! I like seeing the many unspoken ways that show how close they are. And for those who were afraid that getting them together would turn into Hart to Hart and have many scenes of gratuitous sex, just look at the past few episodes. "For someone who has worked as a professional liar for most of his career, you're not terribly good at it when it counts." It's the honesty and sincerity during those little moments that make a big impression. The writers, and especially the actors, have done a really good job so far.

Cubicle monkey was what Fiona called him. I thought that was cute. But he was very convincing as a beauracrat. Although I'm glad he got killed because that's the nature of their lives.

In any case, this ep was the second time someone asked Sam what it was he does to those "lady friends" to receive such lavish gifts. I'M beginning to wonder as well! And as someone else said, I am also beginning to like how Sam calls Veronica his lady friend because well, she's definately not a girl.

So, whatever Sam does, he gets allowances and cars. Whatever Fiona does turns Michael into an inarticulate teenager. And whatever Michael does turns the women on this board into a puddle of goo. That's some super spy juice alright! Where can I get some of that?

I noticed the pant leg thing too. But I thought he would start limping again. As for the Sixteen Candles. Yeah, it was kind of an homage. And the actors real name in that movie was Michael. He is now a furniture maker and salesman in Connecticut. That was his only film. Or I think he did two. Damn he was hot too back then.

Shoes! I loved Fiona's reaction to those fugly Crocs on sale at the mall! And Michael's house slippers.

I really enjoyed this episode. The twist at the end with the bureaucrat guy really had me going!

Nick was a little too clueless for a guy who gets paid to watch expensive houses. If I owned a place like that I wouldn't, like, hire a surfer dude to house sit, you know, bro'? I must say, though, the gig must pay well. How can a space cadet like Nick, at his age, manage to have $15,000 socked away? I'm with Sam - is there an application I can fill out?

It's great to see Steven Bauer, aka Rocky Echeverria from the classic latin comedy program "Que Pasa, USA?" make an appearance. He needs to shape up, though. He is overweight and his teeth looked stained. Not trying to be cruel, it's just that he should take better care of himself.

Don't know what to make of the Michael/Fiona thing. I think I prefer them keeping at arm's distance instead of becoming "an item." The latter detracts from the show's main theme of Michael trying to get unburned. The way it was handled this ep was just about right - a little less pressing on Fi's part IMO would be better.

I like Michael's curiosity about what Sam does for his "lady friend" to deserve a new car, then quickly dismissing it when Sam is about to hep him!

HILARIOUS MOMENTS DEPARTMENT

When they have Lucio captive and tied up, Fiona tortures him with the taser. Lucio screams, "Get this crazy bitch away from me!

Michael suggests to Lucio that he tell Reyes he broke his foot at the mall as an excuse for not calling him sooner. When Lucio protests that he didn't break his foot, Fiona mashes his left foot - Sam's reaction is priceless!

Where did they get that pooch dog?

BAD HAIR DEPARTMENT

Lucio is shown mostly from his left side. In the scene where he is tied to the chair at Michael's place, we catch a glimpse of his right side. It looks to me like his razor cut has a hole in it.

Am usually not at all fond of torture scenes, but found TazerFi amazingly amusing. The foot stomp was hysterical. And I agree, fotojenic, Michael knew exactly what to expect of Fi when he stepped back.

Noticed the nick on Lucio's head, too. The actor was great for the part...made Fi's torture all the more hilarious.

Didn't notice Michael's house shoes, only his black flip flops in the final scene.

Add me to the list of missing Michael's house shoes. I was too busy watching Michael and laughing to notice the shoes. I did get Fi's though. My 5 year old neice has a pair. It would be amusing if they had Michael running around in pink crocs though. Just for one epi. Or those cute little fuzzy bear slippers that kids wear at his loft.

OK, I just finished watching this episode again, and I did not see any house slippers. Were they in this episode, or a previous one?

I suppose I might just have to watch several episodes again to see the slippers. Oh, the dread of having to watch this show again.......... tongue.gif
