Full Version: Looking Back From The Future

Good evening, 4400 friends.....I'm new to the on-line discussion and wanted to join the fun with a new topic. I've been a fairly regular fan since the beginning, yet I have missed several key episodes (Isabelle and Lily accelerating in age, Jordan's assasination, etc). After "Daddy's Little Girl", I'd like to throw a few thoughts on the table:

In the future, there would certainly be 2 groups of people--those who want the 4400 to be able to go back and save the world. There are others that are surely opposed to that kind of outcome. So what if those opposed to the 4400 sent their own "insurance" back to make sure they fail? For example, Lily could have been "seeded" with the evil that would ultimately become Isabelle (this could have been voluntarily or not). Isabelle was to be a human baby, with an evil twist, that she is unable to "turn-off" by herself. The future enemies of the 4400 could not be well served by an infant, so it was inherent in Isabelle's design to accelerate in age, using her mother Lily's own life source--they are inner-twined. In the last episode it played in reverse--Isabelle became younger, which will have the effect of bringing Lily back. Perhaps it is all "programmed" that way--Lily's role from the future is to birth this "entity" and accelerate it forward, however, in the process, sacrificing herself. In the latest previews, Lily seemed almost put-out that Richard didn't know who she was. Almost as if she had to come back from the future again to get the plan back on track. If anyone can foil that plan, it will be Richard. Okay, I'm off on a tangent!

Regarding Meghan, I believe she might also be from the future, to make sure the 4400 are defeated. And what better role for her than the Chief at NTAC, overseeing soldiers with special abilities, that were ordered to kill Jordan. She definitely had Tom "marked" and I believe she is the blonde in the Europe scene where the "marked" members are together. Weren't all the other marked members men? I don't think Meghan is marked, she is their Hitler, as pretty as she is.

Well, I'm anxious to read and watch more. There's so many possibilities that could evolve--USA has got to keep this special show alive at least through a 5th season, right?

Okay, before I get booed off the board, let me say you got a couple of good theories going on! I don't think Lily can physically be brought back from the dead (considering she was cremated), but I like the thought that maybe the future sent her back there. Could it be the future took Lily from the timeline from just before she aged? Or something like that?

Ah: behold the sci-fi headache. smile.gif

Thanks, Zippy....perhaps some of our theories might actually spin into being--we could become virtual assistant script writers!

I wish I could watch the shows that I missed--I didn't realize that Lily was cremated.

Script writers for this show? Talk about a dream-come-true! Richard spread Lily's ashes in the second episode of the first season. You didn't miss too much, just a tender little goodbye. And I'm sure these theories will reveal themselves to be true later on in the show! At least some of them. Here's hopin!
