First, I love the show.
Second, from season 1 to season 2, I don't get the new soul patch! Why wasn't he fine like he was? Doesn't he have people to tell him it's off center? I mean seriously!

Very perceptive observation; his soul patch IS off-center. I too would like to see a return to the facial hair stylings of season 1. Oh yeah, I love Gus!

Not to disappoint everyone, but it looks like the soul patch is here to stay,"I don't think they(psych crew) will go back and reshoot the rest of Season 2."

I personally didn't go, 'ew' when I saw Shawn with it, so I think I'm good with it!

Wow, how this thread has grown! I think(hope) it is very clear to the makeup hair department, that Shawn and soul patch don't mix.

I wonder if the commentary on the Season 2 dvds will talk about this?

Hi, I'm new to the board...but not to Psych! Awesome show . Just wanted to add that I'm loving Shawn's new hair/facial hair style...he looks adorable! But I can see why it is a surprise b/c he does look a little different from last season.

I'm glad people have responded to my first post to the message boards!
I did want to clarify...I like the facial hair, it is just the off-centerness of the soul patch that bothers me.

Haha, it's all good, I just thought I'd add my input as my first post/reply...I never noticed the off-centered-ness, I'll have to take a look at it! And, it might be just me, but I like the longer hair and sideburns this season...lol.
