Is alana gone for good? I liked her and Tom together.

I really can't make up my mind on this one. I want to say NO WAY...Tom and Meghan should not be a couple but...I'm kind of ok with it lol. I don't know...I would rather Alana come back though.

Allana was perfect for Tom. She was sent for a valid reason with a cool ability. They fell in love. I heard the contractual disputes/obligation kept the actress away. Too bad.

As fot Tom and Meghan, sleeping with the boss is a tricky proposition.

I think we have to accept that Alana is gone. Perhaps they will mention what happened to her besides showing up in an artist's studio for a few weeks, but I do not think we will see her again.

As for Tom and Meghan, I think I hesitate to embrace the idea because we don't know that much about Meghan and suspect that she has a secret identity (whether she is one of the marked or simply an unwitting agent of one). However, given the constraints of only 13 episodes per season, I think I can forgive them for seemingly rushing the relationship. Alana was good for Tom. She connected him to the 4400, and she made his home life less stressful. However, I can certainly see someone who is as work/task-focused as Tom finding Meghan attractive. She, like him, does not always play by the book, but instead tries to do what she thinks is right (helps Tom's search for Alana, lets Diana come back, openly discusses things with her co-workers, defies orders and heals her father, and remembers that there is more to life than chasing down 4400's). They seem (keyword being "seem," since it all could be a ruse) similar and compatible. Tom lost his wife and son, and Diana was occupied with her search for April and remains occupied with raising April (plus, she was willing to walk away from it all, while I don't think Tom would ever do that). He's probably feeling alone, and Meghan is just about the only person in his life who could fill that void.

For those who still hate the idea, you could always hope that Tom and Meghan are marked and that they are possessed by a future husband and wife, so it is not Tom kissing Meghan but Mr. Mark kissing Mrs. Mark.

with the whole alana in an art studio thing, there has to be a storyline behind that, it just might take a while for that episode. next week we get richard back, u know how long that took. it will happen, just not for a while.

I don't like Megan w/tom it seemed like whe she was kissing him she was rubbing the back of his ear, yeah yeah i know it could be just a kiss but.... It's too bad that contract stuff kept Alana out, hope it wasn't $$$$ but who knows. Actually, I would like to see Meghan and Tom get close... only to have Alana come back. At least this way, it would be a cleaner exit for Alana than this whole "the future took her away to be Renior's muse" scenario they have now. End the episode with Alana so heartbroken, she's retreated into her own mental reality. Maybe the intensity of emotion will draw Katrina Lombard back.

In general, I hate the way the 4400 leaves open characters, especially when the actor's comments make it clear they won't come back. Everyone wants them to come back, if only for a concluder epi. I know it's for the most part unsatisfying to kill off a character, but you guys got 4400 people to work with, not to mention all the P+s now springing up thanks to Jordan's promicin distrubution. How about employing some of those out of work actors, eh, USA?

Maybe bring in J. August Richards as a regular character --- yes, I know, he was on last season and was killed---- but I hear they do wonders with makeup, fake skin, and body suits these days?

Maybe a contest for a fan guest walkon with a 4400 ability of the week?

If Meghan was a man and he stopped by Diana's house for some beer and casual sex, he'd be considered a pig. In my opinion we should have no double standards. That all went down way too quick for my taste.

I agree, it's just not cool for a boss to have a romantic relationship with an employee. It happens, yes, but in today's world, it's pretty much universally frowned upon if not forbidden. People get fired for having relationships like that in some situations.

I also think it was abit forced, but I guess Tom realized his true feelings after he saw her die. I dunno.

That, indeed, is the problem. If we were talking about a serious relationship, well, many workplaces respect that. But this "casual" relationship is completely irresponsible and unprofessional.

I actually like Tom and Meghan together. After her character was fleshed out a bit, I thought they were a good fit. I was actually wondering for a while if Tom was going to end up with Diana after the one girl (forget her name, sorry) who could make people tell the truth made Tom admit to fantasizing about her.

Yes, but I think men have fantasies about women in general. I don't think it indicated anything more. I wouldn't mind if Tom and Diana eventually got together but I think they make better friends.

I think the Meghan and Tom thing happened way too fast, IMO (similar to Shawn and Izzy).

I agree. What's up with this new chick. I knew Tom had the hotts for her right when she first moved into the NTEC Director's office. I liked Alana too, but there must be something about Alana coming up...But Tome seems like the kinda man to stick with one women. It was like him and Alana were so connected. Not sure whats gonna happen. Will Megan take promysin? I think she's gonna help Tome figure out this whole X-Factor deal. That mole or X is still behind his ear...Megan is probably gonna use her clout to help him I hope. We shall see.

I always loved Alana with Tom... there really seemed to be a connection. And it was cool that they made her abit of a mystery too. From what I've read, we won't see Alana again. But I'd bet they'll at least confirm Isabelle's comment to Tom that the PFTF took her from him as punishment.

I am no Megan fan. I think she might be someone the Marked has working for them. She acted so suspiciously on "The Marked" episode, and she's been pretty willing to not play by the rules when it comes to the 4400. I wager we'll get her full story by the end of this season or early in season 5.

I don't know wshy Alana was sent back in the past. But I know that it had something to do with the fact that Tom didn't kill Isabelle. He had to really KILL her. She survived. Yet without her powers, but she'll get them back and will return to old evil...
So this taking-away Alana is some kind of punishment for Tom.
IF Alana had a job to do, why didn't the future erase everybody's mind like they did when the 4400 children vanished last time? it would be much easier to bear somehow.

I just rewatched "life interrupted". The look on Tom's face when he runs after Alana at the end and they look at each other. OMG. How can he even think of Megan.
