Has anyone discussed Megan being one of the "Marked" or Shawn falling in love with a Starl Mutation who happens to have brains & beauty and then getting married & having a child who can identify the "Marked"? Also, what about a 4400 or P+ who can identify abilities or be like a jenie in the bottle and can give a person a specific ability after taking promicin? Finally, for now, what about Shawn, because he is able to affect a person's body & mind, being able through healing to make a person naturally produce promicin, like the production of insulin, thereby eliminating the 50/50 danger?

Personally I think people are way too caught up in the Marked.

As for Shawn having a child, the storyline will be wrapped up LONG before any child born P+ will have an effect on it. (Although I have floated the idea of somebody's ability being able to tell who will die from a shot and who would live through it)

As Shawn said to Jordan in the recent episode, that begs the question, at least as to the "Marked". Do you think Megan is one of the Marked? And what do you mean by the storyline being wrapped up long before any P+ is born? You don't think it will continue into another season?

I don't think that we know any of the Marked. We're talking about the 7 (Matthew dead, Imeroff outted, unknown religious leader) most important/influential people in the world. People are seeing Marked everywhere. I think that we'll know it when they make a difference again. The plot may be a little tricky, but throughout this show, they haven't really dilberately misled us. It's a good twist, knowing that they are out there, but I don't think that it's anybody we already know.

And what I meant to say was that the story would be over long before any P+ baby will have an effect on the story with it's power. Even if Shawn (or anybody) had a P+ baby, it would be YEARS before the child would be old enough to be able to control it's ability and have any impact on the overall storyline. I DO think that we're going to have another season (probably just one more, but I'm hoping for an extended season of about 20 episodes).

I agree about the the 10 agents, Tom, but the show also implied that anyone could be 'marked' from the present. Tom is marked, isn't he? Same as Imeroff.

I will be interested to see what happens with Tom. Some people have said he should go to Shawn for healing, but I'm not sure that would work. Maybe whatever was done to him CAN'T be healed until it's been activated.

It was hinted on another thread that soon it won't matter if a person takes the shot or not-it will be decided for them. What the heck does that mean? Even if Jordan wanted to forcibly inject people, he doesn't have near enough promicin. Is it going to become airborne or something? Are P-Positives going to start spreading promicin like the common cold? Inquiring minds want to know!

Would airborne Promicin change your opinion about releasing it, rock? At that point, the choice is gone.

Well, I already changed my opinion about the promicin distribution, Original. Those promicin soldiers shook me-badly. I was shocked to see that the government was still running its promicin program. I had always hated the promicin distribution, but now I realize it was the lesser of two evils. You can't have a free country where ordinary humans are ruled by humans with super powers. A balance of power is the only thing that maintains both sides. But it will be terrible if promicin becomes airborne, because as you say, then the choice is gone. On the other hand, if promicin mutates that way, it would have done that whether or not Jordan made it generally available, so he can't be blamed for taking people's choice away if that happens.

Speaking of Meghan being one of the marked, I do not know if this was covered in another post or not but did anyone see or think they saw Meghan put something in Tom's left ear when she was kissing him in the previews for next week?

Yes!!! I thought I was the only one who noticed! She was pawing at his left ear!

I don't think she's one of the Marked. One, if someone else's memory was inside of her, she wouldn't exactly care that her father was dying would she? And she wouldn't have used Shawn to heal him, but it could be a trick I guess.

She does not neccessarily have to be one of the marked to "activate" whatever they put in. She could be carrying out orders from the goverment.
