As a diehard fan of Isabelle Tyler I stand behind my love and support her as well as other characters on the show. The 4400 is one of the best shows on television and it makes me proud to say that it has some of the most loyal fans out there.

I was just thinking about the fact that there are only five more episodes left in the season so we all have to enjoy them while we can, it will be another year before we see new epis again.

Maybe you may want to make this a protected thread, as I just read how another poster's thread has turned from the original subject to bashing of Izzy fans. I must admit I posted there yesterday but it was in regard to the B word being used, a term I find offensive to women and not just fictional women. I'm guilty of mentioning another poster by name but
I didn't stay on, yet I see my actions may have caused all Izzy fans to be painted with a broad generalization today. For this I apologize to you and others. You guys don't deserve this, as you have done nothing but state your opinion, enjoyed the character and the show.

Thanks for the advice Chewy. Listen, I can't speak for any other Izzy fan out there but why it is true I don't like all the back and forth bashing (I have contributed to that and I apologize as well) I think that everyone has the right to express themselves. Just as there are those of us who love and adore the character of Isabelle for various reasons, there are those who don't and I respect their right to an opinion. Sometimes I think we get so caught up and passionate and forget ourselves.

Don't think that you need to apologize, you were just stating how you feel and no one can argue with your right to do so.

You know what, I took the "Protected Thread" label off the topic, don't really get what that is anyway.

I want anyone who wants to talk about the show (how much they love it / like it / suggestions for a storyline) to come in and state their peace without any negativity.

I will start it off. I like the change with the previews on the homepage of the USA Network 4400 site. A clip of the episode without a guy doing the voice-over is different. I like the "cliffhanger" if you will of the person catching the apple (as if we do not know who that is). Great way to switch it up!

Can I apologize to you, IsabelleReigns? We used to have some good conversations before we got all caught up and passionate and forgot ourselves. I'm truly sorry for contributing to bashing and I'll try to mend my ways.

i am not even a HUGE Isabelle fan. i mean i like her character, and like her even more with powers.
I'm not sure if Shawn & Izzy will get back together or not, but i wouldn't mind it if they did, and if they don't so what!
It doesn't mean it cannot be discussed.

I am not sure why people get so upset over certain scenarios they do not agree with.

I just want to be able to post whatever crazy theory that might be in my head without fear of the "Regulars" here bashing it because they dislike a fictional character that I do not, or hate a certain romantic relationship that I do not.

I think that Megalyn Echikunwoke (Isabelle) is absolutely gorgeous; and deserves to be doing the bango tango with a first-rate guy! Plus, her character has become thoughtful, deliberative, and caring! What's not to like?

Or do I also have to indulge in some distasteful Izzy-bashing before I can ask to kiss and make up? LOL

I have been on other message boards and though the fans disagree, they don't act as crazy as we do. If I were Ira Steven Baer i'd be embarrassed for us.

MaiaFan, you crack me up! The bango tango with a first rate guy, I LOVE IT! Yes, she does and Megalyn is extremely talented and I am proud to be her fan.

I posted a thread today that says, you are entitled to your opinion. Please feel free to read it. I would love to discuss everything old, new or soon to be, hopefully. I know everyone has apologized for some hateful things said but I thought telling someone what they could or could not say was pretty cruel but we all are entitled to our own opinions, but I do love the Izzy character as well, and it will be wonderful to see the father daughter team.

Well Chewy I haven't read any of the other negative posts about Isabelle I just didn't want to get caught up again. I just saw the feel free to hate Izzy thread (paraphrasing title) and I just wanted to create a safe place for everyone. I guess I could check it out later.

IsabelleReigns, if you do check out that thread, please keep in mind that I made my remarks before we apologized. I'd hate to get misunderstood for something that I already apologized for. I'm not going to delete my remarks-I was upset, and I wanted to vent, and I feel it would be wrong to pretend I didn't say anything wrong. But I do feel that when an apology is offered and accepted, that should be the end of it, don't you?

i read thru that "feel free to hate Izzy" thread, and found some of the posts there to be shocking, extremely off the wall, and totally unwarranted attacks on members here, and as much as I disagreed with the thread premise, and some of the posts in it, i refrained from replying, as I didn't want to get into any more arguments.
I hope this thread is NOTHING like that one..

I just want people to understand I dont' HATE Isabelle, I think the actress that plays her is awesome. I, however, just don't think she should be "glorifed" and "forgiven" so easily.

Thank you, IsabelleReigns. I appreciate that. I have a concern, and I'd like to ask you because you're an Isabelle fan. Some people have said that some of the fans (they didn't mention names) have turned them off of the character of Isabelle. What I'm wondering is-the writers come to this forum and read these threads. They wrote us, the fans, a letter last year and mentioned some of us by name and what we were talking about. My concern is this. I've become a fan of Isabelle this season, and I don't want to see her go. I wonder if some of the writers have been affected the way some of the posters say they have been, and are turned off of Isabelle. I wonder if that's the case, and that's why we have seen so little of her this season. I hope I'm wrong, but it was just a thought I had, and you're such a fan of Isabelle I wanted to get your thoughts on that.

I am not certain Rock. I choose to think that the writers are trying to move the story along and season 3 was used to introduce Isabelle, now that has been established it is time to focus on progressing the story. I would hate to think that the writers would give the fans that much power in terms of their show. I will watch whatever they put out whether or not I agree as long as the show remains top notch.

I also don't think that ppl on this board should let fans of a character sway their feelings for a character. I think that is a big cop out of an explanation for anyone to say. Who cares what anyone thinks, I like what I like and no one will influence me any other way. So if you Rock like Isabelle then like her and stand strong in that. I know you don't like her as much as me and that is more than fine. I appreciate that you see Isabelle for more than the obvious and you are more open to her. You don't want her with Shawn and that is cool but there are those that do and they (we) deserve the right to voice that.

I don't know, IsabelleReigns. I was surprised that people had been swayed by the behavior of a few of the Isabelle fans. I didn't think that ever happened-I don't like the way a few of the fans acted last year, or have been acting this year, but I didn't base my opinion of Isabelle on the behavior of a few of her fans. When people said they had gotten so sick of some of the fans that they were sick of Isabelle too, it surprised me, and I got to thinking of how little we've seen of Isabelle this year and wondered if that could be a factor. I guess you're right-the story must be progressing the way it's always been supposed to progress. Isabelle did do real good in No Exit-I loved the way she had common sense when some of the others were so jittery. Well, thanks for getting back to me on this-I think what you said makes sense.

The comments about Izzy fans surprised me too and I would hope they would still like her regardless. I liked that she was receiving a better response this year. I think a lot has to do with writing and interpretation and I will expound on that tommorrow when I am at an actual computer and not a cell phone key pad. We all poke fun and try to get each others goat so to speak but bottom line we need to stick together and agree to disagree before the the series ends.
