I was just thinking, and I know this is jumping the gun to whatever the final season and episode of the show will be, but an ending that I think I would like to see to the show is that after the catastrophe is prevented and the future is safe that one of the main characters, maybe Tom, destroys the 4400 technology after it has already been used to fixed the timeline. In point of fact this probably isn't possible because every indication from the end of season one until now is that the people that decided to abduct and return the 4400 and return them are somewhere way off in the future, say a hundred years away or so. But I just think it would be a good commentary on the wisdom of some of the main characters if at the end they realize the potential damage that people with those kinds of powers could inflict upon the human race and they decide to eliminate that opportunity after there is no need for those abilities to remain. The whole idea of braving the future without superhuman powers and abilities is one I think I would find to be rather noble. Like I said, I know it isn't possible because the technology exists in the future and there is no indication that the lives of the characters in the present and the lives of the characters in the future will ever cross paths. Not to mention the fact that the information on how the abilities originated is being formulated by Dr. Berkhoff and I guess there is no real way to contain that or to take away people's abilities after they already have them. Then again, there could always be some kind of mass-4400-ability-removal-procedure performed by Jordan coupled with the elimination of promicin from the public. Who knows how it will end but that's one thought.

It's a good idea.
I don't think that is what's gonna happen, but we don't know.
If that happen, I would like that Tom do it.

If they are using a machine to time travel...then ya...i say burn the plans n blow it up but as far as promicin goes....that genie is out of the bottle an i don't think it can ever be stopped. Not everyone is going to want to give up thier powers and god forbid never let the criminal underwold utalize it.

Maybe you can destroy the time machine, but how could anyone at this point get rid of all the promicin?
