It is not that. There is double standard where a woman can comment on how another woman look with no problem but if a man comments on how another man, his sexuality is questioned.

No prob. Devon was the lady who worked at the 4400 center and was in love with Jordan. During the time he was hitting it with the actress, Devon attempted suicide. Also, it the episode that we met Gary Navarro, she was the person who welcomed him to the center.
No biggie if you still don't remember her, she's dead. "COMPLETELY dead!" (lmbo!)

Lily was your girl next door type hot
Alana is a little too skinny
Tess is too goth
Diana is too conservative, she is like a mom to me.. no sex appeal
Nina was milf hot
Heather is just ok, nice but nothing special
Cassie? she is your naughty/crazy girl hot, but not sexy at all
so... I would have to say Devon as she was the complete package and sexy hot, but she is dead and gone

next is Isabelle , and although she is smokin hot.. she still has that bratty teenager feel to me
can you win if your dead , and not on the show anymore?
who will accept her award on behalf?

Alana is beautiful and she carries herself so well with so much class. Cassie is very mysterious, love how she dresses and her overall casual manner and she is just plain sexy. Megan is as [retty as Alana (or possibly a little more) but she just does not carry herself as we as Alana.

Gotta go with Diana at number one, Meghan at number two, and Cassie at number 3.
You gotta love a woman with power and Diana and Meghan both have it. Meghan is more powerful but Diana is more adventurous and has a very appealing look and personality as a strong woman. Meghan is beautiful and smart but as some other forum members have speculated, she may not have very long to live. The last remnants of teenager in me love Cassie. She's a cute girl (note the difference between girl and woman), with a great personality, however I might grow tired of her know-it-all attitude, especially if she was my ability and I knew I had to do everything she says.

It is NOT an interpretation, it is what the producers have said!

This is
science fiction. I will never understand why you have arbitrarily decided to reject a baby growing to adulthood in a single day when you have no problem with promicin, future humans who travel through time, and present day humans with paranormal abilities who popped out of a ball of light in the sky.

The fact that her body grew up at an amazing rate isn't the problem, the problem is mentally she is still a child. There was a girl in the high school i went to (quite sometime ago) but at any rate at the age of 13 she looked physically around 25 or 26. She didn't look her age at all. In fact when she traveled with the basketball team she had to walk around with one of us acting as her big brother to help keep some of the leeches off her.

It is your intrepretation of the what producers said. I interpret that same statement as girl who is in a grown woman body. In the first episode of season 3 did she have the life experiences of 20 year old? In the last episode she said to Mia that is difficult making decions because she has to make grown up decision as 3 year old. I know this science fiction but you even admit she doesn't have the life experiences of 20 year old.

Why is it so difficult for people to grasp the difference between emotional maturity and intellectual ability? The mind and the heart are two entirely different things, and the difference between the ability to think rationally and the ability to experience emotions has been understood long before there were psychiatrists to quantify the concepts.
Sinjun, I understand what you are saying, but again, this is science fiction. Isabelle is not unprecedented-there have been other rapidly maturing people in science fiction and I have never heard anyone, ever, say they have a problem with understanding that in science fiction a baby can grow up and become an adult far more rapidly than would ever be possible in the real world. Kes of Star Trek and Sil of Species are two notable examples. And I seriously doubt anyone could make a valid case for Isabelle needing an escort to protect her from lecherous males. She's physically mature and intellectually mature. Even if I could remove her from the poll, I wouldn't. She's a grown woman, no matter how juvenile her emotions are.

I will argue you on the intelectually mature part as she hasn't really shown all of that. The fact however is just like a 12 year old that looks like a woman, she is still a child. Even if she is intelligent even if the way she looks forces her to act more mature than she probably would have otherwise, the fact still remains that she is a child. Just because a 12 year old looks like an adult doesn't change that fact either, and it doesn't change even if the venue is Science Fiction.

I am not familiar with Kes but comparing Sil and Isabelle is like comparing apples to oranges. Yes both of these characters grew rapidly but Sil was only interested procreating with the ideal mate while Isabelle may or may not have been created to destroy the 4400 she has more emotions than Sil had ever shown. Isabelle has shown love or what she thought was love. She has shown remorse. she has shown fear. She has also shown negative qualities impulsiveness and selfishnesses. When she to the 4400 center and started killing people to draw Jordan was that rational? Isabelle has shown a range of emotions and Sil almost entirely driven by the desire to procreate with the ideal mate.

Isabelle never showed love to anyone, even now. She was a cold hearted, rampaging, selfish Bitch. You don't tell people you love, they are going to marry you. You don't love your parents and then try to kill them because they lay down the law. That's true, Phanta, but I do think Isabelle has the potential to grow emotionally. Last year she was all intellect with no control over her emotions. She was just running wild, like many serial killers who have superior intellects but are emotionally two year olds. However, since Isabelle is not a normal human to begin with, I think she might have emotional potential that a normal human might not demonstrate. As far as her maturity goes, she was found to be a competent adult when it came to paying for her crimes. There was no thought of excusing her because she was emotionally immature. Nor was there any question at all of her intellectual maturity. For me, it's two sides of the same coin. I find it absurd to say that Isabelle is an adult when it comes to killing people, but a child when it comes to sex. This is one of those black and white issues-one or the other. If she's a child, she should not be held responsible for anything she did last year. If she's going to be held responsible for her killings, she's old enough to decide her own sex life. What do you think?

Once a person is physically and mentally mature, both the law and common sense concurs that they are an adult. Hi Phanta,
Many times I agree with what you post. However I must take offense at the word "bitch". A bitch is a female dog and profanity. I realize many times it is flung at females and now folks use it to degrade other males and females like water. However I also believe if I used the "B" word for any of the males in the show (as in B**tard or even a son of a b****) my post would either be deleted or reported.
Thanks,
