Ariana
Hi to all Monk-fans out there smile.gif

I always read on the board: "Write your own Monk fan-fiction-story". or "Write your own story about how Natalie and Sharona could meet, like in Lee Goldberg's book 'Mr. Monk and the Two Assistants". Well, I've already written two long stories and a few short ones, but the problem is: in German. And it is too hard for me to translate them, especially with my very lacking knowledge about the English language. But I thought, maybe it would be fun for you to read some of my ideas in a comic? I haven't got Liv's talents to draw and so I'll use pictures of various Monk episodes (they are more photo stories wink.gif ). Some of my little comics could be a little bit overdrawn (I hope that's the right word for it.)--I'm sorry for that biggrin.gif --and because there aren't only funny stories (but the most will be), I decided to make a new thread instead of putting them in the old one called "Monk pictures just for fun."

And this thread (of course) is also a place for you all to post your own comics and it doesn't matter, if the stories are ideas of your own or taken from the "real" Monk episodes like the little "pieces of art" drawn by Erdi (sorry, if there are more from other Monk-fans already, but I didn't read and see everything on the board) in this thread:
http://forums.usanetwork.com/index.php?sho...mp;hl=paintings

So, please, feel free to post your comics here. I'm sure that all fans are looking forward to see them.

And I hope you'll like mine.
And now: Here is the first one in two versions taken from one of my long fan-fiction stories (The title of the comic is not the one of the story wink.gif ):
Oh, I forgot: If you find any wrong words (British' words for example) or typos or grammar mistakes a wrong word order or you don't understand a joke, please write me a PM and I'll correct it. I would be very grateful if you'd do that (and not insulted at all, don't worry wink.gif ).
Thanks in advance!

and now let's really begin with the first comic :

You asked on the fan art thread if I thought I might try making a comic with my little SP people. Well, I'm very tired so it may not be that funny, but here is my attempt. smile.gif

Hi Liv!

Even when you are tired you do great things! Thank you for that pleasure and I want a lollipop like Randy's. smile.gif . I'm looking forward to see your next SP comic.

BTW: Some month ago I asked Glassbell about this 10-second rule, because we here don't know it. I remember some weeks ago, my younger son helped me to cook dinner. He dropped a mushroom. I picked it up and washed it. He said: "Mom, you told us, that everything that falls on the floor is dirty and you can't eat it anymore." I said: "I meant a piece of bread, a cookie or something else you can't wash again, but you can wash a mushroom." (okay, some people say: "Don't wash a mushroom, but...") But actually we don't have a 10 or 5 or 2 second rule here. biggrin.gif I think I first read about this rule in "Mr. Monk Goes to Hawaii."

You guys are so talented - thanks for sharing them with us.

I'll go sit in the corner now and pout 'cause I'm not that artistic... blink.gif ... or computer savvy.

Thank you very much that you like(d) my little stuff. smile.gif

Alex is right, kees_lady, I'm quite sure, that you have got lots of talents! But maybe you got talents you can't show us on the board, like cooking for example. Maybe you could cook a "Chicken Pot Pie" or a "Pasta Primavera" (not to mention your "Chicken Cacciatore") of which everybody of us would eat a lot (and look like Dale the Whale then), because it's so delicious, but that's very very hard to realize here.

I do have a few talents. I excel at avoiding housework. I can knit a ski sweater or a complicated crochet pattern, I can needlepoint a SP figure but please don't ask me to cook - I gave up cooking when my kids grew up.

Wow Ariana, great job. biggrin.gif
Thanks for the comics.

Thank you very much, Vanna smile.gif

@ kees_lady: Now I know that you knitted Randy's Christmas sweater. biggrin.gif You are his aunt!

BTW: The clown in the 2nd. comic is really Tim Curry (for the possibility that you might not know it). He played a very creepy and scary clown in the movie "It" based on a novel from Stephen King:
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0099864/
There's a picture of him as this clown with pointed teeth and really looking scary, I wanted to use, but I couldn't find it, so I had to use the one I used instead. biggrin.gif

I thought it would be horrible for Monk to see:
1. a clown
2. that horrible clown from the movie,

but what Adrian scares most was what he mentions in my comic. smile.gif
