I have jsut recently discovered Psych, love this show, I tihnk I have seen all of the episodes, but I must have missed something, do we know what happened to Shawn's Mother?

I think all we know for certain is that she left. (I believe it was in 1992)

Hey, Poohkey, great question. I think all we know is she and Officer Spencer were divorced. In the pilot, Shawn says something like, "I was helping my mother through her divorce," when his father asks where he'd gone.
