Tonight's episode really seemed like the best of the series so far, to me. This is the first one I've felt like keeping around for later viewing. I don't know if it was the cute female psychic that did the trick. Seems like most episodes have some cute ladies, so that is hard to say. The whole episode just seemed "on" the whole time. Not bad. Not bad at all.

Those were probably the best.

Great ep! Probably my fave so far of the season! Overall, humor and jokes were right on target, I thought. Pace was good, characters were in-character, and story was fun.

I thought the plot was a little obvious though... as soon as the girl psychic walked into the chief's office I could tell she was involved.

Also, in same scene, Lassie refers to Mildred as an "anagram." I believe he meant "acronym." Why did none of the writers catch that?

I loved how the pineapple Easy Bake cake appeared in more than one scene, and the Psych Out was great.

Also loved the way Shawn flirted with the psychic girl. I think he makes the perfect womanizer.

As for Gus... seems like he never goes wrong. My hat off to Dulé Hill for always being funny.

I thought it was a purposeful mistake. Like he was so worked up about the cool gadgets that the cool agent had that he was trying to sound intelligent and impress the guy but ended up failing miserably.

This episode was good. I wonder what Shawn would do without Gus. Gus is very smart. He is forever making Shawn look good.

The lady psychic was fake and she was crooked. I've picked that up about her, from the first time, I have seen her.

How about when Lou (Special Agent Ewing) wanted a hug? Just a tiny little one. Funny. Or how about when Lassiter and Ewing trying to top one another with their achievements and were going to duke it out in the lobby. Miss Lindsay had me believing she was real until she touched the counterfeiter's body then I knew she was a faker. And Mildred calling "Shotgun!" Priceless. The biggest thing I like is that Henry told Shawn that he accepted him in who he was. Awww!

Four words: Presidential Physical Fitness Award. Lassiter is awesome! I like to have cried laughing at that!

That's possible. I hadn't considered that. If so, IMHO the joke fell flat. It just didn't work for me.

I also forgot to mention the Lassie & Treasury Guy's "let's pull 'em out and measure" scene in the hotel lobby, when they were trying to "one up" each other. Great scene! But would've been better if Lassie had been trying to compete from the very beginning. Initially, Lassie seemed to be kinda of hero-worshipping the treasury agent... he didn't decide to 'one up' until later. A little healthy competition from the beginning would have made it a more interesting relationship from the onset... and more believable, IMHO.

That's a good question. Until this week, the Psych page on USA did have full episodes available to watch, but it seems they've been taken down.

Henry seems a bit worried about Shawn this season. Also, he seems like he keeps coming up to him and almost saying that he is proud of him no matter what. This is a complete 180 of how he acted last season always grilling him and making some hard-ass comment. I don't know maybe they are foreshadowing to something big happening or maybe I'm just interpretating it differently.

I was pleased to see Henry say that he accepted Shawn. I wasn't all over him saying that he could quit though. It was a great episode all and all. And one of my favorite parts was when Ewing went all Kung-Fu on Lassiter in the hotel lobby. This stuff is gold, I swear.

I'm pretty sure I saw somewhere where admin said they weren't doing that anymore, just the replays. But I can't be positive. I know in the US and maybe other places you can download the episodes for $1.99 from Itunes, and Psy vs Psy is already up in the Music Store. There are probably places online to watch the episodes for free, but we couldn't talk about those here b/c they aren't legal.


I didn't like him saying Shawn could quit either. I couldn't tell if he was trying to be supportive, or if he was being a jerk as usual and calling his son a quitter.

Here's a question: Shawn and the other psychic are in the hotel room and decided to try to read each other. The first thing out of the hot psychic's mouth is something like "They don't bury the dead in coffins." What was that? I don't get the reference.

I think (and I could be totally off) that what was said was something like "they don't bury survivors", which would be a reference to the 'riddle' of 'a plane crashes on the border of the united states and canada. where do they bury the survivors?'
