Full Version: Missed The Last Few Minutes!
Hi everybody! I'm new to the forum. My tivo missed the last couple minutes of Sunday's episode. I just barely caught up tonight. I was wondering if anyone could tell me what happened after Shawn confronted the politician. I'd really appreciate it! Thanks!
Okay assuming you might not have seen the entire scene in which Shawn confronts Gabriel Hewitt:
Shawn: It's not just about the politics, is it?
Gabriel: What the hell are you doing here?
Shawn: Everything that you said to me in my office that day was a lie.
G: This is private property. You know that I could have you arrested for trespassing.
S (stepping closer): The truth is you hate us all. You hate all The 4400
G: So what if I do? What difference does it make? Now, I'll ask you again. Why are you hanging around outside my garage. What are you doing here?
S: I wanted to see you without your cameras -- before you put your public face up for the night, have a look at your eyes. I have reason to believe that you're capable of terrible things and that you have an evil living inside of you.
G: What if you did see evil? Then what?
S (stepping right up within a foot of him): Honestly, I don't know what I would do, but the truth is I can't see anything. You may be full of fear and hatred, but you're just a man. For now. (walks away a few feet) Listen, you may not know it yet, but you wouldn't make a very good leader. I'm not gonna let you become one. (Walks out of garage.)
Gabriel looks confused.
Diana and Tom are in their NTAC office with Tom with a bandage wrapped around his hand where he was injected, is seated, and Diana is standing
Diana: But you're promicin test came back negative. (Reassuringly and compassionately says) I'm so sorry about Kyle, Tom.
Tom: We need to call Meghan. Issue a new APB: Jordan Collier, his followers (says regretfully)....and my son.
Diana slowly walks out. Tom looks saddened, and slowly fingers the pocket of his jacket and pulls out the green psychic anxiety waste piece, and looks at it with curiosity quickley before glancing aside. Some fans suggest he may regard it as something good that came from his encounter and that the villagers aren't necessarily bad.
Jordan, his followers, and Kyle are standing around a campfire in the woods at night.
Kyle staring into the fire, disappointed, glancing quickly at Jordan: I couldn't force him to take it, Jordan. I'm sorry.
Jordan: Well, I left the choice up to you....Anyway, the sedative we gave him gave us enough time to get out of Evanston.
K: He's gone. I lost my dad -- WE lost my dad. His name's in the book; if he doesn't take the shot, we don't succeed.
Jordan, turns his head to Kyle, reassuringly: Then you need to have faith he will......, but it WON'T happen because we forced it on him. (Nods slightly) One day, Kyle, I believe your father will come to us.
K (sighs): We've lost Evanston because of me. I cost us Paradise.
J shakes his head: It's alright. Evanston was never meant as a permanent settlement. It was only a dress rehearsal for Paradise.
Isabelle: So what do we do know? There are all these people here. What are you going to do with them?
J glances around at the people, nodding in acknowledgement to Isabelle before stepping forward to address the townspeople: None of you should lose hope. There is a next step. There is a home for each and every one of you. (pauses before revealing) We're going to Seattle.
Show ends with that cool thunderous echo. This was fun.

Muldfeld, I'm confused. I thought Tom's hand was bandaged because when he first pointed his gun at Jordan, one of the villagers made it sizzling hot and he burned his hand a little. By the by, that little trick was from a Star Trek episode, and I loved it when the Organians did it too!
