hi rolleyes.gif i was wondering if u guys wouldnt prefer to call people taking promicin neo-4400 as oppose to non-4400 coz they really aren't non 4400 as they dvp abilities as well and their is only a slight distinction between them that of the original abduction, not that i dont think marco's distinction isnt humorous itself crispy thing(kinda like cylons in BSG seems to be subtle differences of generation etc..)

I think I prefer P-Positive, Evenstar. Neo sounds awkward to me, and then there's the whole Matrix thing. But that's just my opinion.
Phanta
i agree p+ just sounds better.

Hi Bubba here, I like Promicin Positive as well.

I really like Marco's term of extra crispies and like the P+ nicknames. Neo sort of reminds of of Neo-Nazi but that is all about perception in my brain. I remember when it came time to name my son I didn't want a name of someone I didn't like in school....tee hee.

hum i get ur point of view i wasnt thinking anyhting negative with the word neo,i only thought of the positve connotation with meanings like new, renewal ,birth, innocent ,good, novelty, unknown expectations, new beginnings, new dawn that kind of perspective keeps posting though it's interesting ur thoughts

I agree Mickey, ... well except for the Neo-Nazi thing... that never came to mind for me! Makes me think more of the Matrix than anything.

It is funny how we look at names isn't it! I remember my sister and her Hubby trying to decide on a name and he was like no I don't like that name and I asked "So, who was (s)he?" laugh.gif It's true though, I think a lot of people are like that. My problem was finding a name not already used in the family! wacko.gif With 5 siblings each with a spouse plus 13 nieces and nephews, just on my side of the family mind you, you would think it would be easier blink.gif

That's an interesting point Evenstar. I guess to many of us have been subjected to the Matrix that the meaning has been shifted to the side and now all we see is a man in a long black coat!

The neo thing...could be a difference in our ages as I am not a Matrix fan and that didn't enter my mind.

Wow, Zip, it sounds like you guys could create your own baby book of names. It has been a sort of a standing joke in our family how my son's was finally chosen. Maybe I didn't like very many people back then....laughing at myself now. But anyway, my son was named after a street name. It was the only name that his dad and I could agree on. smile.gif

I'm really not a Matrix fan either, it was just such a big deal for a while and I did see the movies, but I just developed that picture associated with the name I guess. I never really had anything else "neo related" to influence me either though.

I don't know, we really don't have a great deal of original names... maybe a few and some of them did repeat, one of my nieces shares my middle name for example. One of my sisters got off easy with her third son, both of his grandpa's have the same first name so they just gave him that for a middle name! laugh.gif With my oldest we had a girls name pretty easy, driving down the road one day and a name just popped out of hubby's mouth that we both liked, but we couldn't decide on a boys name thankfully she was a girl! Then when baby number 2 came around we decided on a boys name and couldn't decide on a girls, we were sitting in the hospital room hours before our precious baby was to be delivered and my mother and his mother are spouting girl names back and forth! Finally one of them came up with one we liked, added that to a middle name that I liked but was "too unique" to be used for a first name... huh.gif Oh my that is comical about your son! Funny thought to add, my Mom was raised in Michigan on a road that happens to be the same name as her Maiden name, after my mom got married to my dad and after he got out of the military they moved onto some land my dad inherited which happens to be on a road that is the same as his last name! So for most of my mom's life has been spent living on a road that was the same as her last name! Of course the same is true for me although, I still live on the same road, different house, and my last name has changed!

I don't like the extra krispies (is it K or C? LOL) as much as P+ even though I've used Extra Krispies when referring to those who've taken the shot. P+ seems simpler and ... is quicker to say and type! tongue.gif

I don't like Extra Crispies. I reckon it's cute, and it certainly did stick, but it's just too weird. I know it's just one of my strange things, but it makes me think of Soylent Green.

Actually I like both P+ and extra crispies. I think P+ being used as the official classification and extra-crispies as slang.
