Okay I've decided to re-post the Tamara/Melinda thread up again, so please post anything and everything about them here, your love, pics, interviews, either clips or in mags, whatever post them all here.

Here's a few photos to get this thread started!

Although Olivia Benson is my fav on SVU, I like Dr. Warner very much. She's always so calm and professional and yet caring and has a good humor. That's why I admire her. She also remembers me of a ME here in Munich, where I worked for about a month in the morgue.

I love Doc Warner because well she just fasinates me so much with her knowledge I just can't believe she is sometimes or I think how does she know that. I just knows everything about anything it's amazing. I love Melinda's wardorbe as well she's just so awesome in that area too. She's just a cool lady. So is Tamara she plays Melinda so well.

I love ME Warner as well. I love her in Sick- when she was taking DNA samples from that Michael Jackson-like character, Billy; how she pretended that she didn't hear Elliot "threaten" Billy with police brutality and told him when she was going to take an oral swap "and if you bite me, I will hurt you" and then requested he put down his pants so she can get his pubic hairs and then her face reaction when he showed that he had those hairs removed...classic Warner!

I remember that episode as well. I love that scene with her too. It was funny the way she was kinda torturing the guy by pulling his hair roots from his head. I think I'd be in pain too if I had to go through that, that had to hurt a lot. I loved when she asked him to pull his underwear and pants too just that whole scene is just acted so well by Tamara. I also love the scene in Weak from season 6 where she hits on that gay man, oh my god that's like the funniest, best scene ever with her. I couldn't stop laughing when I first saw it.

I've heard that TT's Party Planner eppy was on this weekend on the Discovery Home Channel did anyone catch it? If you didn't I have caps of it, but the bad news is they aren't that great in quality at all. I took them from my VHS tape that I have the episode on, it's a piece of crap VCR and the camera I took them with didn't help either with the quality. If anyone wants to see I'll link them.

I think a fanfiction story is a great idea to do. I usually have really good ideas let me know if you want some, in fact I've even written a few stories already. Three of them are drabbles, but the other two stories I'm doing aren't one of them I'm doing on my own and one is with a friend, although they are all OM (Olivia & Melinda) stories they are all very good.

Why is she crying?

Those pictures are from As The World Turns from 2004 (Tamara's last big storyline, because she became a re ourring character), she's crying because her character Jessica just had a miscarriage, also she practically lost her best friend and she lost her husband (he left her), so she had a few things to cry about. But she was mostly crying because of the miscarriage. Oh are you still willing to do a fanfic on Melinda?

I have been a fan of Tamara's ever since she was on As the World Turns. I was sooo excited that she was casted on one of my favorite shows. She ROCKS as ME Warner. When I was in NYC a couple of years ago I ate at a diner she frequented. I saw her hearshot on the wall and I asked the owner if she ate there often he said she had been in a few mornings ago, wished I had been there!

Wow! I'm so glad someone else here is a fan of hers. I've loved her since she's been on SVU, but I've seen on As The World Turns as well. I loved her character there too. That's so neat that you ate at the place she's there the most. I'd love to go to NYC to meet her, but unfortually I live too far away to go. I know of two people who've met her in person and they've both said she's very nice and I believe it. She just seems like an awesome lady all around. I'm so hoping she's in SVU next season a lot more.

Oh if anyone's interested. Tamara's first appearance on NYPD Blue is on tonight the episode is called Up On The Roof, it's on TNT at 5am (et) Wednesday morning I don't know if anyone of you will be up then, but if you are maybe you can catch it. She's also in the episode Good Time Charlie which is her second and last appearance in season one which will be airing in a few weeks don't know when though, but it'll be on TNT. She also is in a few episodes in season 4.

Wow, you've got some great resources. I'm impressed! Melinda is a fun character; another on my list of those who don't get credit as they should. I really loved her in "Blast" because it showed us a lot more abut her and what a compassionate person she can be. She's really fun. ;3

Thank you! I'm sooo glad you like my art. Some of the photos I can blend and others my blending just sucks, so blending is my problem with banners. Wow! I just love your fanart as well it's so awesome. I loved Melinda in Blast as well. She definitely needs another centric episode. I'm so hoping that she gets more screentime this year which I have a feeling she will, but we'll see. Also Storm had really great scenes with her too. I'll probably be updating this thread with more fanart as well of Tamara and Melinda so keep a look out.

Ads Come to Fruition, Longer Days

Christine Squitieri and the graphic artists at North Shore Animal League of America did a great job with the shoot we did with Law & Order SVU's Tamara Tunie! I mention the details of the shoot further down on this blog. It was a heck of a day, last February, with a not-so-nice snowstorm to hold us up, but not stop us.


Tamara posed with several dogs from the NSALA kennel that day, joining the ranks of other celebrities that participated to help remind pet owners that spaying or neutering their dogs and cats can significantly reduce the number of animals that end up in shelters across the world...a good fight.


The shoot itself was a lot of fun. Tamara was wonderful with me and the camera; she knew exactly what we wanted for the campaign. After a brief chat regarding what we were looking to accomplish, and discussing the expressions and look/feel of previous shoots, we were ready to go with Tamara standing, holding the first puppy. Problem? It was a pretty big puppy - and a pretty heavy one at that. We pulled in a stool to remedy that situation very easily, and shot about a dozen images with each dog. To get the ears up on our canine models? Squeaky toys! The great pup pictured did eventually shred one, but not before we made some fantastic shots.
