I'm a timepiece nut (or more sane sounding - collector). Anyone know the brand/model of wristwatch worn by Jeffrey Donovan on this show?

I have also been wondering about the watch.

Bond is the one wearing the Omega Seamaster, I think Donovan is wearing something that is black on black. It looks kind of military style, as it should.

I think you are right - I own an Omega Seamaster and I know that's not the one - so the quest continues. Sounds like a huge missed marketing opportunity for someone - don't you think? I was thinking Luminox up until the other day after watching the second episode, I'm not sure now.

I was also thinking Luminox, but it is to damn hard to get a good look at the watch. I think you must be correct, that no brand is wanting product placement for the watch. There have been lots of good shots on those sunglasses, but nothing that shows off the watch.

I put a message through to the Burn Notice crew asking about the watch. I'll let you all know what they say.

I really like the Omega watches. I was actually going to get one a while back, but it was something like 1500 dollars...

It could have been a black Omega, (they've got different versions of the Omega watches that you can get in different colors) But i doubt it. It didn't look like one. Maybe a Bretiling? That'd be were your military part would come in. But i don't know if they do black bands and such.

Yeap, that's the one. Great detective work. You can see a pretty good shot of the watch in one of the pictures on this Website but not big enough to make out brand. However, the distinctive red/yellow sub-dial gives it away. Thank you!

That is a great looking watch. If he runs short of funds he could sell it to make the $200/month rent. LOL!!!! 

Looks like he's wearing something different in the season finale, as it has a black steel band.......any ideas?

but what's probably more in character is the Kobold Phantom because:

1. doesn't say Special Forces
2. automatic ETA 7750, not quartz (battery powered)
3. high quality design meant for tactical operations
4. it is extremely well made/expensive (like an Armani suit or Oliver Peoples Victory)
5. extremely durable because of three coats of PVD to keep it black as possible
6. and if he needed to trade the watch for transportation or a favor, it should get him about $5,250 best case.

As posted in another thread, I've got my CD Special Forces Air Combat Team watch up for sale. This is the original CD SF watch, and it's been sat in my collection for a few years, hardly being worn. Very rare compared to the UDT XL. Feel free to take a look:

It is a Chase-Deuer pilot watch Special Forces 1000UDT.

Actually, the pilot watch CD doesn't have the red/yellow seconds dial at the 6:00 position - only the UDT does. And it would make sense that after the times we've seen MW use SCUBA and even demolitions in the S1 finale to resue Sam.

Like a few others, I have a CD UDT 1000XL and the screen caps are dead-on for my watch. So hands down MW's watch is a Chase Durer UDT 1000XL (and NOT the Geneve or 1000 non-XL versions kciking around eBay)
