WWE has put a media ban on their superstars for the next three weeks. This means that WWE stars can’t do any interviews with any media other than WWE.

Its because of the benoit thing. They don't want them shooting their mouths off maybe about the drug or lifestyle situations or they don't want them to talk about benoit period. Thats it.

Well they could just crack down a bit more on the drug testing, let's say they come back postive for drug use? Well if it's thier frist time offer counseling, second time suspension and rehab, thrid time thier out with a fine and permemant suspension......

Alright we know that. The question is about the media ban. Not that bruce hart said it all.

McMahon evidently thinks this thing will die down in a few weeks. I wouldn't be shocked if the ban is extended after 3 weeks because the media has their teeth in this probably until the toxicology results come back.

And if the toxicology results come back as positive for substances the media will become even more interested.

I agree that it was pretty obvious why they have a media ban right now. I think that it was a smart move for the company, but it will be interesting to see what people say when the ban is lifted.
