You are lucky. Be careful, that could sound like the beginning of an SVU case. No joke intended, really.
Hope you enjoy America!
Thanks. I will enjoy America :-) I'm in America since 6 weeks (on Thursday 6 weeks in Boston) and I love it. I really like the country and I don't miss my home country lol Ok I miss my family and friends but not the country.
Yeah I know that I'm lucky. My host mum said, that I could call her the next time when something like that happend.
Oh no, I don't want to play in a SVU case *lol* Yeah no joke I know. I had really good luck and I will be more careful.
I was on Saturday evening after work with 4 other Au Pairs in Boston (Back Bay exactly lol) This part of Boston was so beautiful. I really enjoyed it. The highlight was the Predential Tower. It was awesome.
Well one of the Au Pairs celebrated her "Goodbye home party", because she will leave the US on Wednesday, after a succesfull Au Pair year. So we had dinner together in a beautiful restaurant. The evening was so nice but it had something bad... I tell you.. We were so scary, I never had this feeling before.
After dinner (approx. 9:30 pm) we wanted to go to the Charles River because it's so nice there. But it wasn't a good idea.
Well, we had to walk over a bridge (a small bridge over a big street) and it was so dark there. We walked and suddenly we saw a person, sitting in the corner. He looks scary but we walked further and suddenly he looked at us and began to scream. So loudly! And then he stood up. We turned quickly around and ran back down the bridge.
I never ran so fast before *lol*
It was so scary. We all thought: Welcome to the reality in America. Wow... it was really scary.
