Current Topics about WWE and TNA Shows.

WWE Smackdown

http://forums.usanetwork.com/index.php?sho...384645&st=0

TNA IMPACT and Other TNA Related News

If you have news or just want to discuss the matches on these shows please keep it in the correct thread.

Also, if you have a spoiler about a certain show, you might want to use the spoiler box.

If have you have a disagreement about something, don't fight, explain your point to the person who are explain your point to.

All caps is considered yelling and should only be used when needing to emphasize a point.

Pay Per Views

PPV Threads should be started the Monday after the last PPV. It doesn't matter who starts them, just try to keep all the matches in the first post so, we know what the card look like.

Videos

The following is from Admin about the type of videos you can post ...

QUOTE
Short clips, fan made videos = I don't mind.
Long clips, complete matches, complete segments = not fine! don't post these!

If you want titantron videos, wwe.com has all of them.

Games

Games are fun and great way to pass the time. You might want to try these ...

"Heel or Face"

"This Or That" Wrestling Style

http://forums.usanetwork.com/index.php?sho...389731&st=0

"What If"

Posting New Threads

If you want to start a new thread, to make WWE come up as WWE and not as Wwe, leave a space between the letters like so, W W E. That's how the new software works for some reason.

Reporting Spam

If you see a spam post or a thread, please do not respone to it. Simply report it. Here's how to do it. Click on the thread and look under the username for a "Report" button, click on it and tell the Admin here, that it is a spam post or thread and he will remove it. That's it. You help kept the forum clean of spam. Wasn't that easy! smile.gif

I thought about making a thread for wrestling footage, if there's not one already.

If there's anything you like to add, please free to. smile.gif

I think we should add to the list, that all caps is considered yelling and should only be used when needing to emphasize a point. Some of our new posters are using caps way too much, and its hard to read.

Netiquette suggestions on wikipedia.org:

(Find this article here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Netiquette#Forum_etiquette)

Certain rules of unspoken etiquette are recommended to be followed when using Internet forums. They include:

  • One should read all the rules and guidelines established by the community. Some communities may have different regulations on a particular subject.
  • One should always be courteous to other forum members.
  • Before creating a new topic thread, one is advised to search to see if a similar topic already exists.
  • Contributors should follow standard grammar and spelling rules and avoid slang. Leetspeak is sometimes accepted.
  • If the forum is categorized, one should strive to post in the correct section.
  • When making a technical inquiry, one should include as much technical information as possible, especially in the subject line.
  • Contributors are asked to stay on-topic.
  • Contributors should avoid double posting and Crossposting.
  • To avoid appearing self-absorbed, one should respond to topics started by others more often than starting topics of one's own.
  • Contributors should avoid the use of all CAPITAL LETTERS in posts. ALL CAPS is considered "shouting" and causes readability issues.
  • One is advised not to resurrect a very old topic if nothing significant will be added. This practice is known as revival, bumping or Necroing.
  • One should try to refrain from lashing back at a poorly behaving member or participating in a flame war; instead, notify the messageboard's staff of the event.
  • When quoting a previous post, one should only include the relevant portion of that post. Contributors are requested to keep in mind that their audience can likely still see the message they are quoting on the same screen and can read it again if need be.
  • Signatures on forums should generally have a maximum height of 100 pixels, as to not cause clutter.
