Count me in for Shawn/Lassiter. There's a lot of good canon support for it, too, so it doesn't seem like the pairing comes out of nowhere. Well, at least on Shawn's end with all of the 'flirting' he seems to do. I always feel guilty shipping this, though, because of Lassiter's devotion to his marriage/unwillingness to move on. (But, hey, who knows what the second season will bring?)

Shawn/Gus doesn't bother me, as I can definitely see some canon to back that up, but I can't see anything that hints at Lassiter/Gus ever being possible. :\

This really is an amazingly slashy show - Shawn/Lassiter however easily has the edge in terms of pairings. There's just no "crackle" to the Shawn/Gus relationship, certainly not enough for me to see any slash potential. S/L however has IMO the ingredient vital to all good slash pairings, a little bit of antagonism (with no malice attached of course!).

Seriously loving this show and long may it last!

well, sorry to disappoint you guys and you "slash" hopes, but Shawn doesnt "flirt" with guys. he likes making Lassie uncomfortable, and if teasing him like that does it, then so be it. Shawn isnt gay and i doubt anyone on the cast is.

I see chemistry between Shawn and Jules. The stuff with Lassiter I think is just Shawn's attempt to get under Lassiter's skin, that's just the conclusion I've come to.

Has anyone ever really read any of the Shawn/Lassiter slash? There is some damn good stuff there. People just need to overlook the whole nasty concept (I don't think it's nasty though...I'm too open-minded). I have read almost every slash for them that I have been able to find.

Don't get me wrong...I am a bonafide Shawn/Juliet shipper, but it's not a bad thing to mix it up once in a while.

Anyonw agree with me?

Hmm. From seeing the comercial for the newest episode, I have serious doubts that Shawn is Gay.
I can't track it down on Youtube, but, it was on during Last Night's re-run of the latest episode.

And there isn't really too much to back up the fact he's gay, but maybe I'm just not looking at it the right way?

I am soo glad you agree that the whole slash thing is "No big". People have some whacked-out imaginations, but it always comes to life on paper in some weird and wonderful way. I have read some killer slashes for Shawn and Lassiter. There is absolutely nothing wrong with it.

Very true. There ISN'T anything wrong with slash. I, to be perfectly honest, LIKE Shawn and Lassiter.
There's nothing wrong with not liking it, in my opinion. It just bugs me when people are such jerks about it. Don't bash something someone else likes just 'cause you don't like it.
