Well guys, it's time to take a look @ This Week in WWE History.
6 years ago this week the WWE's Tag Team Division was in trouble b/c during that time, Stone Cold Steve Austin and Triple H were holding the Triple Crown Gold @ once.
Triple H w/the Intercontinental Heavyweight Title and Stone Cold w/the WWE World Heavyweight Title also captured the WWE World Tag Team Titles @ BACKLASH back in 2001.
However, just 3 short weeks later @ Judgment Day, the World Tag Team Titles were not on the line that night, but there was a 1st ever 7 team Tag Team Turmoil, and Chris Jericho was looking for a partner to team up with, and so he found a partner in Chris Benoit who was one of his old archrivals, Benoit who lost in a Best 2-out-of-3 Falls Match to Kurt Angle that night has also battled Chris Jericho in Canada, Japan, ECW, WCW, and also in the WWE for the Intercontinetal Title, but on that night, Benoit and Jericho won a 7 Tag Team Turmoil which also featured Perry Saturn & Dean Malenko, The APA (Farooq & Bradshaw), The Dudley Boyz (Bubba Ray & D-Von), X-Pac & Justin Credible, The Hardy Boyz (Matt & Jeff) and Edge & Christian.
But on that night, Triple H lost the Intercontinental Heavyweight Championship to Kane in a Chain Match which also became The Big Red Machine's 1st reign as I-C Heavyweight Champion and he also became a Triple Crown Winner in the WWE, but Stone Cold however was able to def. his fellow Texan The Undertaker in a No-Holds Barred Match to regain the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.
However, just one night after Judgment Day on RAW is WAR, the stage was set:
Chris Benoit & Chris Jericho challenged Triple H & Stone Cold Steve Austin for the WWE World Tag Team Championship:
During the match, Triple H tore his left Quadriceps muscle, but somehow found the courage to finish the match, however Jericho landed the Lionsault, but as he went for a pin, Triple H came in with a sledgehammer to break it up. The Game took a mighty swing, but Jericho moved, causing Triple H to hit his partner Stone Cold. Jericho was then able to score the pinfall and capture the WWE World Tag Team Championship for himself and Benoit for the very 1st time and it was as Jim Ross mentioned after the match, "the biggest match of their lives" when Benoit & Jericho did what no other Tag Team could've done, and that was def. the 2 biggest names in the history of the WWE: Stone Cold Steve Austin & Triple H and they did it on RAW in San Jose, CA and it was also voted as one of the 10 best matches of 2001 in the WWE.
However, Stone Cold Steve Austin was still the WWE World Heavyweight Champion, but as for Triple H, he was carried out by the officials to check on his torn Quadriceps in his left knee.
3 days after Benoit & Jericho won the WWE World Tag Team Championship, WWE Chairman Vince McMahon made Chris Benoit & Chris Jericho defend the belts on a taping of Thursday Night SmackDown! in a Tables, Ladders & Chairs Match.
It was the 3rd time the World Tag Team Championship Belts were defended in a TLC Match and it was also the 1st time ever on Broadcast Television that the WWE had a TLC Match.
It was Benoit & Jericho defending against 3 other teams that have been in TLC Matches:
Edge & Christian, The Dudley Boyz and the Hardy Boyz
Even though he was stretchered out during the match, Benoit recovered, climbed the ladder and grabbed the gold to retain and the match went down as one of the greatest matches in the history of SmackDown!
Benoit & Jericho would go on to hold the WWE World Tag Team Titles for a month before losing the belts to The Dudley Boyz when they became the 4x WWE World Tag Team Champions.

and also, Chyna was still the WWE Women's World Champion @ that time and she def. Lita @ Judgment Day 2001 and it was also Chyna's 1st Women's Title defense on a LIVE! WWE PPV, and I'll even bet that Lilian Garcia was so happy for Benoit & Jericho to win the belts and also, I'll even bet that Bret Hart is happy for them as well.
