WWE has come to terms on the release of Sabu. We wish Sabu all the best in all future endeavors.

According to one source, the plan for tonight's ECW TV was for Sabu to wrestle Kevin Thorn, putting him over. Sabu reportedly balked at the match, claiming a neck injury. There are some who believe that Sabu arrived late this week expecting to be sent home as he's made noises to others about being unhappy working for the company. There have been some other recent instances of his arriving late and/or without his gear, including a TV appearance a few weeks back where he ended up wearing Daivari's boots and tights.

There are rumblings of an incident involving Sabu taking place over the weekend in Cincinnati as well, but I haven't been able to confirm any details at this time.

Well here's something:

The reason he left TNA was b/c the WWE was trying to steal some stars from TNA so that he can bring back ECW.

and also, I do have the TNA DVD's of Sabu @ Bound for Glory 2005, Genesis 2005, Turning Point 2005, and even Lockdown 2006.

I'm also planning on getting more TNA DVD's from 2005 @ highspots.com such as Hard Justice, Slammiversary, No Surrender, Sacrifice, and even for one night only, Unbreakable.

yeah I know me too, I actually saw/heard many of the originals were going to leave...but I had to atleast post so that now it's confirmed.

okay.. so now lets just get ecw sold already because without the originals, its basically pointless

I can agree with Sandman and RVD, but I really think Dreamer will stick.

All i can say is good for sabu. now he can enjoy working.

Thank GOD. Now Sabu can hopefully go back, and get back to real Hardcore matches.

Oh and by the way, with the departure of Sabu, RVD, Dreamer & Sandman won't be far behind. Guaranteed, ALL gone in the next few months.

ECW will then be cancelled. It will never survive without the Originals.

Originals are the only reason most people watch ECW.

Unless Tazz gets back in the ring full time, the loss of Sabu will create a domino effect imo.

They are actually half the reason I don't watch. Guys like Balls Mahoney and Sandman don't interest me at all. If they had more guys like Punk, Burke, etc. then i'd probably watch more.

At one time Sandman & Balls were great hardcore wrestlers. Unfortunately McMahon made them jobbers.

That time was a while ago though and even if they were given the creative control over their matches, they still won't be able to perform the way that they were able to.
