MVP is currently 33 years old and has went on record saying that Benoit is among his favorite wrestlers to watch, alongside Dean Malenko and Eddie Guerrero.

HHH has done similar things in the past, wanting his legacy to reflect that he created the next generation's biggest stars by grooming Orton and Batista.

Hopes are high that MVP will one day be a major draw for the company. One of the only problems people within the company have with him is his dated ring attire which was actually chosen for him because he was out of shape at the time and they wanted to hide his gut. Since then he has gotten into better shape and they’re now looking to get him some better ring gear.

As I mentioned when it was brought up that Victoria was training Candice Michelle, this is the same thing. You team or get in feuds with others to help develop them.

Hopefully this is true, and Benoit can help MVP drastically improve in the ring, because right now, he sux.

Personally i'd rather see more Benoit protege's rather than HHH protege's.

I agree because no offense to HHH, Benoit ever since kurt angle left, is now the best wrestler the wwe has in the ring. Not to mention that it would add a little humblness to some of the wrestlers.

I think Benoit is the best on SD. HBK is the best on RAW.

Yep. I would say benoit takes the cake in the in ring action. HBK is the best overall.

Yep. Benoit in-ring is the best, but it's the overall package for a wrestler entertainer and with Shawn's in-ring ability and mic skills, it puts him over the top.
