WHO HAS THE EDGE?

Edge has voluntarily headed to SmackDown! to cash in his Money in the Bank opportunity. Now that Friday Nights are Rated-R, can Edge overcome the many obsticles that await his World Heavyweight Championship reign?

Matt Hardy
Following the well documented and scandalous love triangle involving Lita, Matt Hardy was "edged" off of RAW by the Rated-R Superstar. The past may be ready to creep up on the new World Heavyweight Champion.

Rey Mysterio
The last time Edge was seen on SmackDown, he shared the SD! WWE Tag Team Championship reign w/Rey. Since then, Mysterio has captured the same gold Edge now bears, and upon his return, Rey could be looking to regain it.

Mark Henry
The monsterous mastodon is back and more hostile than ever. After a 10 month absent for the ring, could the World's Strongest Man have an agenda not only for destruction, but for championship gold?

Kane
The Rated-R Superstar certainly has a twisted history involving Kane and Lita. Their fiery wars on RAW could easily reignate on SmackDown!, w/Edge bearing the one title that's eluded the Big Red Monster.

Finlay
Everyone knows the Irishman loves to fight - and if it's one person Finlay hasn't fought yet, it's Edge. Not only that, the Rated-R Superstar has never quite experienced a hit from the shillelagh and or encountered a Hornswaggle.

Batista
Batista was within inches of regaining the World Heavyweight Championship in several contests w/the Deadman. Edge may have faced Batista in the past, but The Animal might be predatory now than ever - especilly when it comes to the title.

Mr. Kennedy
Just 24 hours before cashing in, Edge took advantage of an injured Mr. Kennedy by beating him for his his Money in the Bank opportunity. The new champion is standing in the limelight that Kennedy imagined himself standing @ WrestleMania 24. In Kennedy's mind, does the "R" in Rated R Superstar stand for retaliation?

The Undertaker
After a vile Steel Cage Match, a mauling by Mark Henry, and the utter robbery of his World Heavyweight Championship, will The Phenom ressurect to take back the gold along w/Edge's soul?

and that's your look @ the 8 men that could be gunning for Edge's World Heavyweight Championship.

WHO HAS THE EDGE?

THAT'S THE QUESTION!

Now tell me what do you think about that.

BTW here's the link to it:

BTW does Edge look different w/tattoos on?

I obviously have to see the outcome of the Batista vs Edge match at Judgment Day 2007 before being able to tell you who has the Edge. Batista could win? Batista could want a revenge? They could tie? Edge could win? If the Batista vs Edge match does not turn out to be a long feud, like the feud of Undertaker and Batista, then I would like Matt Hardy, Kane, Mr.Kennedy, or Rey Mysterio to start feuding with Edge.

Well half that list is already iffy, it's really just 4 guys.

Matt Hardy - tag champ already, why push him away from Jeff right now
Rey Mysterio - when's he coming back anyways?
Mark Henry - If Batista wins (which I doubt), he will probably get a chance
Kane - involved with Boogeyman and his past and championship pushes doesn't make it likely
Finlay - same as Mark Henry, but less likely even then
Batista - pending his loss, he could have a rematch
Mr. Kennedy - injured, so won't matter
Undertaker - same as Kennedy
Slash
Kennedy and taker don't matter because they are all injured. Rey Rey may be in the title hunt when he comes back later. Mark Henry will never get a push imo unless its like they did with MNM a few years ago. Kane=no. Finlay=Hell no,Batista is the only one who can really feud with Edge unless they want to push matt hardy which will never happen imo.

Hi Bubba here, I would have to say Batista too. Then Mark Henry.

Kennedy is not as badly injured as initially thought.

QUOTE
The latest update on Mr. Kennedy is that with the news that his injury is not as serious as first thought, creative plans are almost certain to change once again. While Kennedy will not be able to work a match for 6-8 weeks, there is a good possibility that WWE creative could continue to write him into television angles doing interviews and minor run-ins. The feeling backstage is that Kennedy is a top guy on SmackDown and it is important to keep him involved with the brand. We should know a lot more after next week’s SmackDown tapings as to the direction that they will be using Kennedy.

Well guys, just so you all know:

This Sunday @ Judgment Day will mark Edge's 1st Match @ Judgment Day in 5 years since 2002.

as you know, Edge def. Kurt Angle 5 years ago in a rematch from BACKLASH 2002 in a Hair vs. Hair Match and on that night, Edge shaved Angle's head bald.

also, this will be Batista's 1st match @ Judgment Day, but only his 2nd appearance since 2002 and also on that night, Batista made his debut on a WWE PPV as Deacon Batista when he was on SD! before being apart of Evolution, and on that night, he and Devon were in the corner of Stacy Keibler when Stacy chalenged Trish Stratus for the WWE Women's Gold, although unsuccessful, Stacy, Devon, and Batista got their revenge on Bubba Ray when he cost Stacy the championship.

and those are the facts.

No problem, I'm glad that I remembered that one, and BTW 2002 was the night The Undertaker won the Undisputed WWE World Heavyweight Championship from Hollywood Hulk Hogan.

just to clear up what happend this past week in the WWE:

QUOTE
WWE was thrown into disarray this week by a rash of injuries to major stars. When the smoke cleared, Edge was the new World Heavyweight Champion representing the Smackdown brand.

Things began falling apart when Undertaker went down with a torn biceps. It was a major tear, to the point where one head of the muscle rolled up his arm and you could see it through the skin. He is scheduled to undergo surgery soon and will be out of action at least six months. Undertaker had been told that this would be the first long-term championship run of his career, and there were no imminent plans to take the belt off of him. He had trimmed down significantly and was in the best physical shape of his career, largely in preparation for working his hardest house show schedule in years.

Taker was insistent that he drop the title in the ring as opposed to vacating it due to injury. The decision was made to book a cage match between Taker and Batista for the May 8th Smackdown tapings. Batista, however, was not scheduled to win the belt. Although he had appeared on Raw the night before to announce that he was going to use his Money in the Bank title shot at WrestleMania, the plan was actually for Mr. Kennedy to cash in after the Undertaker vs. Batista match, when both were bloody and defeated, and win the title. But then Kennedy went down with a triceps tear and those plans went out the window for the time being.

Because the decision had been made internally not to put the belt back on Batista at this point, someone was needed to take Kennedy's place. Edge was chosen because of the feeling that there is no one else on the heel side that can draw at this point (Orton is out of the question for all the reasons written about each week, plus he'll be fed to Hunter upon Hunter's return), and Vince McMahon doesn't want any other babyface champions at the moment outside of Cena.

Do you all think that Edge's move to Smackdown will help his career or hurt it? And do you think this will help Smackdown improve its ratings?

It'll help his career in the long run. It can show that he can carry a show. And it might help improve ratings.
