Last year's "SvR07" made improvements, especially in motion detection and controller config's.

However, the improvement was not drastic enough for me, to not be somewhat disappointed, especially with the same outfits for the wrestlers, even despite 2006 being the year of DX, no DX was in the game except for an unlockable DX intro (that still introduced HHH as the wrestler) when you teamed HHH & HBK. The announcers were completely not updated either. All of the lines were recycled from 2006, except in the rare situation of newly added legend wrestlers like Dusty Rhodes, Mr. Perfect and "Rowdy" Roddy Piper. J.R. & King still called RAW, and Cole & Tazz still called SD. There was no ECW at all. Which isn't a problem, but this year they at least need to replace Tazz with JBL on SD.

Storyline mode & Career mode also still needs massive upgrades. They're getting there, but not quite there yet.

Depending on the initial reviews after it's release, I MIGHT pick it up.

I don't think that's the real cover. The shots of Orton & DX are really bad shots, and don't look like publicity shots from the WWE of them in action. They just look like screen grabs and a photoshop job.

It may not be the real cover because people just create their own sometimes.

my only major gripe about 2007 was that it was too outdated.. and career mode became repetive after a bit.. plus... i still have problems tagging someone in because my character just wants to either get out of the ring or climb the rope lol..

If they update with ECW, correct annoucers/wrestlers/themes/gimmicks and then a couple of cooler career mode things added, ill probably buy it.. especially if i got a ps3 or a 360 by then

My problem was actually getting tagged in by the AI. I liked using DX alot, and it was boring as hell when HHH would do the entire match, and i'd keep calling for a tag, like the controls state, yet never tagged in.

Finally i'd go kick the crap out of the other tag member, store a finisher, then get in the ring, hit HHH with Sweet Chin Music, and drag him to the corner, get on the other side, and start calling for a tag, lol.

I hate whenever you'd go for a pin the opposing ai partner would attack me and i'd send my partner in to attack and he'd just stand there doing nothing.

Yeah that was a problem for me too.

I figured out that you just have your partner cover then you attack the opponents partner.
