Ok, well I'm a lurker, and usually just post in Psych, but I love Monk and House also.
House has been one of my favorite T.V shows ever since season 2. Ummm...I had a few friends who always watched House, so I decided to check it out. This is quite possibly the best medical show out there right now. (my opinon)
So there ya go Bubba! You actually mad me come out of the little Psych forum shell I was hiding in.

My sister got me into the show and I have loved it ever since. I love House and SVU!

Oh, I LOVE House! His sarcasm regularly makes me *rotf*. When he has a fight with Cuddy... I remarked some... tension... between them.

But I also like the silent moments when he shows a bit of humanity. When he has what I call a "sidekick" patient he sometimes acts like a real ass. You remember that pregnant woman whom he told that she has a parasite? And his other habits... watching General Hospital or takes too much of his pills (I call 'em goodies

)
It's the only show other than SVU I disconnect the phone to make sure no one disturbs me
A few weeks ago I saw the last eppy of season 2. Wow, a 45 minute hallucination. Great eppy. And a really nasty cliffhanger.

Can't wait for the new eppys.

before I get beat down, yes I know this is only supposed to be a usa tthing but I only not watch usa when nip/tuck comes on. Besides that, my eyes are stuck on USA and CRTv, Food Network, Mythbusters, ManvsWild, and of cours PBS for my lil one. USA is the top of the list with House, Dead Zone, 44oo, Law and Order SVU, and CI, also love THE MOVIES!! the line up is always so cool. I love House, he is honest, reminds me actually of my husband, especially the sarcasm, but it grows on you and you learn to not take it personally. I admire his blunt way of expression, his intellect,a nd his lack there of tact.

Hi, not a "lurker", just don't know my way around much. Big Hugh fan, for sure. Love the Anglo faking the "American English" otherwise known in government (as of yesterday's vote) of the "common" language. Ha! This show I can see going on for years. And glad of it! Way too many dysfunctions to wrap up in this or next seasons. Lead on! And thanks for the chance to post. (all I know how to do so far)

Love house, Vicodine

or not, actually if i ever have to go to the hospital, I told my sister I'd ask for House. lolo, I love his sarcusim (sp?) like when he walked into the chapel and asked Formen, (do i have the name right?) well any way he said "are you done talking to your imaginary friend" nothing is sacred to him

. Good thing he's a genius. Also the couple from Cuba was a great show, I thought it was great how the husband stood up to House and ended up sharing drinks and cigars. Do you think there will be 3 new interns?? Looking foward to the new season.

I *heart* House, Its acutally the reason for the progessive lack of interest in SVU (sorry SVU, still love ya Munch!). House never disapoints though.
As for the intern situation, I really think theres gonna 3 new ones, I dont see them bringing back all 3 ducklings, but I dont think we are gonna see the last of Cameron, Foreman and Chase!.
MY dream? To be a POTW

I dated a guy a couple a years ago who looked just like House. I had a really big crush on him.....so, House is my "Friday night date"! LOL
But you know who else I have discovered is the oncologist. I mean -- I love his eyes -- they are dreamy. I have seen him now in varying ages recently in shows and realized wow he's been in theater really a long time.
So, great show for Hugh Laurie! and love his music ability. And man! how do you do that American accent, fabulous.
I do think they make his character a little over the top sometimes with crudeness and I wish they wouldn't do that -- I like him to be a sexy bad-boy actually. But let that oncologist on there more too. Having typed medicine for 30 years, this show interests me on many levels, especially the interesting and well written medical side.
I hope you all have lots of shows ahead -

I love the series House and would love to talk about it, so join in. I'd love to know more about the charachters, especially Hugh Laurie. cecii, I'm totally with ya on the crush thing and House is really the one show where you can't help but love the guy who can be such a jerk. I love his sense of humor and his lack of bedside manor.
I would totally ask for House, if I ever had to go to the hospital! Wish he'd come, if asked...LOL

Hi,
I'm new to the boards, so I'm not sure if this has been said yet or not. Robert Sean Leonard is a handsome, talented, warm character: why is he always portrayed as a desperate womanizer? I never liked this aspect of his character on the show: it doesn't fit. The parts where he is a friend to an impossible person are great, so I'd like to see more of this side of his character off and on. Leonard is very talented (and very under-appreciated by Hollywood), so I'd like to see him have a more appropriate presence on the series: sorry to sound so bossy, but I'm a long-time fan of Leonard's work and just don't think he's being used to his full potential.

I agree. Robert Sean Leonard is great. i loved the first episode this season because he is in it so much and he and Hugh Laurie have great timing together for the jokes etc. He is undervalued, but very talented. Won a Tony for his stage work and has several other Tony nominations. But if you read stuff on him, you will see he admits to being, I think the word he used was 'lazy' and has begged writers to write him out of one show so he can run home to New York. He just loves that city and well House is filmed on the other side of the country.

Filming
Exterior shots of Princeton-Plainsboro Teaching Hospital are actually of Princeton University's Frist Campus Center, which is the University's student center. Filming does not, however, take place there. Instead, it takes place on the FOX lot in Century City and on location in Vancouver, BC.

Not really a lurker just found the board a week ago. I use to post a lot on different boards but haven't for a few years. I'm more of a scifi fan, but right now House is my favorite show. I've watched since the show aired and have the first three seasons on DVD. I'm an RN and usually I pass on medical shows, but I really enjoy watching House. I think the whole cast is great and the writers have done a wonderful job of developing the characters.
