One of WWE's biggest stars has decided to leave the company in the near future. Also, an important behind-the-scenes person is also planning on leaving the company. The names should be revealed within the next few days.

It better not be Benoit! I hope its Cena or Orton (i don't really care 4 orton). But I think it will be Batista because I am pretty sure he is going to lose to Undertaker at Backlash and then where does he go from there. It can't always be Batista vs Undertaker that would just be boring, somebody from raw has to come to smackdown to start up a feud with Undertaker.

I'm not sure if this is it or not BUT...
Rob Van Dam has turned down WWE's latest contract offer. His current contract is set to expire ovet the summer; possibly in late July, but it hasn't been confirmed. However, until the deal expires, there's always a chance that the two sides could come to an agreement.
The creative team has been instructed to focus their attention on CM Punk and Elijah Burke so that if RVD does indeed leave the company, it won't be too strong of a blow to the ECW storylines.

If RVD leaves, ECW is over. Write it down.
By this time next year, I personally think whether full-on leaving the company or just taking a step back, that RVD, Benoit, HBK, Dreamer, Sandman, Sabu, Flair, Carlito, and Randy Orton will no longer be with the WWE.
I think we are going to loose alot of people in the next year.

As we’ve been reporting, RVD turned down WWE’s latest offer. According to sources, this appeared to be the final offer WWE was going to make. So the likeliness of RVD resigning is very slim. His contract is rumored to expire in July. With his contract expiring, the general feeling is that there will be no non-compete clause in effect and will be able to compete anywhere upon his leave from the company.
There has been no talk in regards to TNA signing him at this point but as time goes by things may change.
With RVD’s possible departure from WWE, Sabu and Sandman’s future may be up in the air as well. It’s been said that Heyman and RVD, both, kept Sabu from being fired or even quitting himself. Sabu’s been on thing ice in the company for quite some time now and has been staying out of trouble for the most part.
Sandman’s days in ECW appear to be up in the air as well. RVD’s departure may result in the complete dismantle of the Originals.
We’ll have more on this as we get more information.

Ric is single-handedly the greatest wrestler of all-time.
I love him to death, and his ability is still remarkable at his age. Flair could run laps around Batista, and that's sad... for Batista.
I say we need a big sendoff for Ric, and I mean this... WM 24 Flair needs to be apart of the main event WWE title match. A singles match against HHH (who will be wrote to be the WWE champ at that point).
HHH will win, but will then greet a bloody Flair, and Flair will go from turnbuckle to turnbuckle as the audience cheers, because they know... this is his final match. Ric bows out in the main event in the biggest sporting event of the year, in front of 80,000 screaming fans in Orlando.
