just don't ever call her "Ray" *giggle* If that didn't make sense, don't ask... Trust me, it's better that way. anyway, I got a message from Jaime sometime after the show at the Princess Theatre... she saw a comment of mine on Zac's MySpace, and thanked me for going to support them at the Princess.
After I directed her to a page where she could view some of the pics I got from the show, she proceeded to ask if I'd mind sending her some of them, since her friends apparently had little success getting pics that were good for anything but blackmail. *giggle*
I, of course, was honored that she asked ME for pics that *I* took, so I sent on all the pics I got that I thought came out good (of her, of course... I didn't want to overload her inbox with my 150+ pics of Zac... LOL) She DID ask me to send 3 of Zac, though... I had to narrow it down?!?! To just THREE??? Does she realize what kind of prepostulous suggestion that is... that I could narrow it down to just THREE?? Hehe... well, I did. She was pretty happy with those, too... so, yayyyy...
Anyway, in the process of all this, I added her to my friends on my MySpace... and she sent me a message saying she'd be at Christopher Pizza here in Nashville on Friday, the 20th. I told her I'd go, barring anything catastrophic happening. So, Janis and I went to the show... Before Jaime went on, she came walking by where Janis and I were, so Janis stopped her. I could see out of the corner of my eye that she was saying something and pointing at me... no doubt telling her that I was the one who sent her the pics... not sure of 'zactly what she said though...
aaaaaaaaaaaanyway... she said Hi to me and that she'd be on stage in a few minutes... It was a pretty brief conversation, but it was cool... Then, during the show, her and her entire band squeezed onto this little bitty teeny weeny stage they had... not only was there not enough room to move on stage, there wasn't even really enough room to STAND on the stage!! Hehe... But she was amazing, anyway...
After the show, I made sure to get her attention... though, it wasn't hard. She kinda made her way back over to where we were... I asked her if she had CDs... could I get two? (cuz that's what kind of friend I am, dadgummit... hehehe... Janis lost her job yesterday... I thought seeing a show and getting a CD --- signed --- might take the edge off. It did.)
I scanned my copy in, so y'all could see what she signed on my CD. Pretty cool...
Now, yes... I realize she's pretty full of it... "the BEST photographer ever"?? Hehehe...
But it definitely put a smile on my face... made my night. I had an awful lot of fun TAKING the pics... I'm glad they could be put to good use.Actually, her bass player (Jeremy Worden) also put a couple of my pics up on his MySpace page, too. Pretty cool, right??
