Hehehe... no, we didn't get any new words from him this weekend... but I DID get an interesting email from Doctor Dictionary that made me think of him. The word of the day was "spoonerism"

now WAIT! Don't be getting ideas as to what you THINK it means... cuz you're probably way off. So, what DOES spoonerism mean??

QUOTE
spoonerism \SPOO-nuh-riz-uhm\, noun:

The transposition of usually initial sounds in a pair of words.

Some examples:
 • We all know what it is to have a half-warmed fish ["half-formed wish"] inside us.
The Lord is a shoving leopard ["loving shepherd"].

It is kisstomary to cuss ["customary to kiss"] the bride.

Is the bean dizzy ["dean busy"]?

When the boys come back from France, we'll have the hags flung out ["flags hung out"]!

Let me sew you to your sheet ["show you to your seat"].
Now, see... I used to do this all the time, thinking I was funny. Kurger Bing, instead of Burger King... Tumb Thack, instead of Thumb Tack... Mawn Lower, instead of Lawn Mower... etc, etc... but I suppose we can stretch it to combine actual words into ONE compound words... i.e. 'provulgar' that Zac gave us, and my favorite creation of my own "prepostulous"

hehe... tongue.gif

So see... all along, it's been Zac's SPOONERISM... tongue.gif *giggle*

Awwwww... that was awfully nice of you to say. I doubt you meant it as a compliment, but that's how I'm choosing to take it. smile.gif Hehe...
