David has also been invited to be with Randy Owen, Blake Shelton, & the NS band this weekend in Arizona. Can't wait to hear all about it. I'll report back with details next week..........

Everyone's back and all had successful, fun weekends. DSR had a great time with Blake, Randy and his wife Kelly, Jeff, Todd, the band, etc. Lotsa song, sun, visiting, beer, no sleep, and interesting developments in the works. I'll PM you RC and fill you in on some things that just may be happening in the near future! Great things on the horizon.......

But I think Bailey and I had the best time of all! There really is nothing like a grandbaby! She loves her Mimi so much and the feeling is mutual! We went to New Orleans yesterday to pick up her daddy and meet her mommy at my nephew's 1st birthday party where everyone had a great time eating crawfish (well, not Bailey) and playing with Elmo (yep, the REAL Elmo was there ). I have some great pics of Elmo painting DSR's face and told him I was going to post them on the NS website. He said just be sure to say that it was for a 'good cause', to which I said...."yeah, cause you're just a big kid" ! I still don't know how to post them on here so.....GEORGE....I will be e-mailing them to you soon!

Anyway, everyone is exhausted and getting ready for another busy week and weekend coming up. David is playing at a festival here in Louisiana along with Cowboy Mouth, Tracy Lawrence, and Erma Thomas. I think Chris Young is playing there too. I hope so - would love to see him too! DSR is heading back to Nashville next week for more writing, recording, meetings, etc.

Crawfish humm never could get up the nerve to do the head thing with them..
When I was there had I can't recall if it was Jax or Dixie beer and crawfish and enjoyed them..

OH not sure if DSR knows anything but at this point it doesn't seem the tickets are on sale here for the tour yet.. I keep checking but its not posted on the ticket site they only showing up to first of July...

Elizabeth had a good time but it was mostly work for her. She had to attend some night time functions (dinners, dances, ceremonies, etc) and it made her miss her 'music man'. She also missed Bailey so much and called us regularly to check in. Guess she forgot that I raised her and her brother and haven't lost my touch - they survived! She would much rather have been in Arizona with David and his buds, I can promise you! Oh, BTW, Blake is still feeling bad about those 'song selection' remarks he directed to Elizabeth during the show. He even asked David if "Elizabeth still had a hit out on him?" LOL! There are no hard feelings about that and they all plan on getting together soon!

I've asked GeorgecTV to post some pics here as soon as he can. He is my go-to guy on the techincal end - don't know what I'd do without him! So keep an eye out - the Elmo pic is on there too! And FYI Elmo did indeed get tickled. But not by me - between us - I think Elmo is a girl!!!!!!

Although I am a Louisiana girl all the way, I DON'T eat crawfish. Don't like those little mudbugs at all - can't eat something that is looking at me! So, I enjoyed a hotdog with the other kids at the party! Now, the beer, well that tasted good!
