When I was two I had a dog I believe it was a mix with a rottwiler and a schnauzer.I was only two-three so I have no clue.Anyways, once I was outside with it and it was rather small as was I.I was playing with it and he had his leash on.I had to go to the bathroom so I remember my mom tieing the leash on the tree.I used the bathroom then stood on the bathroom toliet and looked out the window to see my dog and he had ran around the tree and was stuck, lol. So I jumped of the toliet and ran outside. And I saved him. smile.gif
I remember when I first saw him in the cage.I was like "Oh,wook a puppy!".And then they let him out and he was so small! But,I was so scared of him, lol. And everytime he came near me I'd run to my mom and say "Mommy!".Finally I followed him around and pet him on the head but I was still a little scared, lol. biggrin.gif

LOL, When I was 8 we had a labodor(sp) and the summer club I joined gave them away for free and after begging my Mom she agreed to let us keep him. So when we went home my Grandma came in and It was dark so she didnt know there was a dog, yet. The dog started barking at her and chasing her. So my uncle came in right after her to see out new dog. And the dog was all nice around my uncle(he has a dog) but mean around my grandma so when my uncle left i had the door open so When my Uncle pulled out the driveway the dog started chasing him. I ran down 3 blocks to get it but the dog kept running. The dog came back an hour later. Tired and everything. But then he started crying because he like my Uncle and not us. So then my neighbors brought their dog who was the same breed to our house and they started having feeling for each other. Man that dog was crazy and weird.I miss him though.

I got a few.
-Our neighbor was an elder lady..so had 3 protective chihuahuas. When my mom went there (my neighbors house) to pick me up from school...one dog bit her toenail. biggrin.gif It was kinda funny

-Me & my cousin were playing some b-ball...& one of the chihuahuas busted through the gate & my cousin started screaming like a little girl...it was funny cos I was calm. And shes 3 yrs older than me

-My mom once threw Boozer a ball to catch & it was in my direction. Boozer made me flip in the air. & it was PAINFUL!!!!

K, Im done.

These stories aren't so much about what our dogs have done but more about what our dogs have inspired us (and others) to do........

A long time ago when I was really little I saw our dog Cocoa eating grass. So I crawled on to my hands and knees and started eating grass too. I don't know if she had peed on it or what, but it was really gross and it made my stomach sick so I ended up puking.

When my siblings and I were younger we used to blame things on poor Cocoa. My mom would ask "Who used my nailpolish?" And I'de reply, "Cocoa did it."

We used to have a cat named Ashes who absolutely adored Cocoa. He'de follow her around everywhere and when he got tired he'de climb on top of her and go to sleep.

Then there was the time that my mom spent hours baking a cake for someone's birthday and just when it came out of the oven someone called her to help them with something. So she put it on the table to wait for it to cool so she could ice it. When she came back she caught our dog Chance with his front paws up on the table and his face in the cake.

Picture an average, elderly, miniature poodle. That's my Charlie. Charlie sleeps in my bed and wakes me up every morning, about three hours too early, to take him out. Once walked and fed, however, Charlie is ready for a nap.
This particular morning, Charlie's naptime roost, the sofa, was covered with mail. But this bothered Charlie not a bit. About fifteen minutes later, however, a noise startled both of us and I looked up from the recliner, where I had been reading the paper. Charlie looked up, too. Charlie must have drooled in his sleep because he had an envelope stuck to his lower lip and, when he looked up, it came with him. Picture this little bit of fuzz atop a white envelope, rotating around like a ship's sonar. I woke up the rest of the house, I laughed so hard. That dorky, little dog is always good for a laugh, but I love him, anyway.

I thought this was so funny when it happened but had to stife my lol so the dog wouldn't think I was pleased.

My daughter had a bowl of Cherrio's in the livingroom she was munching on and had just left it there to go upstairs, thankfully there was no milk on them.

My keeshond, Atom, found the bowl and decided to help himself. I caught him in the act and yelled, "Atom! Spit those out!" He did - with spitting noises, head shaking and using his paws to dig the Cherrio's off his lips. It was so comical to watch but the five other dogs were standing around waiting to run in and snatch them up so I had to put them all in down stays then picked up each Cherrio one at a time dropping them into a trash can while they watched with dejected looks. When I was finished and had released the dogs from their down stay Atom put himself under the kitchen table. I think he was giving himself his own "time out!"

I wish I could say he had learned his lession to not eat anything I hadn't given him but he never did - he did learn fast to "spit it out" on command from that day foreword though. I never touched him in any way, my voice was enough. Keeshonden are quick learners and need little discipline. I still laugh over the way he spit those Cherrio's out. laugh.gif

My dog's name is Casper. Casper likes to blow bubles in his water bowl. It's really funny. The more we laugh at him the more he does it.
