The Wrestling Observer's Dave Meltzer appeared on the Live Audio Wrestling radio show on Sunday night after WrestleMania and he said that Shawn Michaels was extremely upset and unhappy with his match against John Cena. When he got backstage, he was screaming about how terrible he thought it was.
After the match had concluded, there was a spot where HBK abruptly walked away from a Cena handshake attempt which was not scripted, as they were supposed to shake hands. Michaels was red hot at Cena for not selling his leg that he spent the first few minutes of the match working on. Also, several of the agents were unhappy with Cena for that as well. In fact, you could see during the match that HBK got in Cena's face and started cutting a shoot promo on him, which is why the audio went out for a few seconds and was replaced with crowd noise.

BAM. You got it.
I think it was scripted that Cena was supposed to win, but HBK probably regretted signing off on it a few minutes into the match.
Almost everyone, including Cena fans, unanimously have said that HBK carried the entire match, and then basically gave up once the STFU was applied.
HBK was visably upset with Cena in the ring, off script, and refused the handshake, off script.
HBK is probably fed up with carrying Cena's ass in these matches. Folks, he CAN'T WRESTLE. Love him as much as you do, regardless, he can't wrestle, and some of these long-time WWE guys are tired of having to job to him AND carry his matches, simply because McMahon wants to market his hotness to fatass 40-something housewives & 12-year old girls.

Cena was supposed to win. What HBK was upset about was how bad Cena was in the ring. I mean HBK was working the leg for five-ten minutes and after Cena "shook it off" he was running around like a damn fool. We (well most of us) know this is all fake, but i think they like to make it appear a little believable. HBK should not have to put over guys like Cena, not trying to bash him but he is just an average (if that) wrestler. I know they are trying to put over their young guys b/c they are worried all their stars are getting old, but give it young guys who are good (hardy, cm punk, kennedy, carlito, benjamin, etc. etc.) And end rant.

There are internet reports being posted around saying that Shawn Michaels is furious with John Cena over "not selling the leg properly" during his WrestleMania match as well as other things with the source being attributed to Dave Meltzer on Live Audio Wrestling directly following WrestleMania.
This report is fake.
You can listen to what Dave Meltzer said yourself at
http://liveaudiowrestling.com/audio/audio.php and he's on the show starting at the forty-five minute mark and there is no mention of this supposed "story." They talk about buyrates, post-Mania angles, boom periods, and some of the matches before going into MMA discussion for the rest of his time on the show.

According to those within WWE, Shawn Michaels was said to be the least bit upset about losing his match to John Cena this past Sunday at WrestleMania. Michaels accepts that fact that he is getting older, he is no 42. Michaels has always argued for what's better for the business. So he wasn't going to put up a fuss over his loss to Cena.
However, 18 months ago when he lost to Hulk Hogan at SummerSlam, he was upset because Hogan was older than him and wasn't a full-time wrestler. It was more of a Hogan powerplay that resulted in Michaels taking the loss at last years SummerSlam.
The promo that Shawn cut on RAW, which referenced to Hogan and Bret Hart, was to dig at the two wrestlers for putting up a fuss backstage in the past when they had to lose to him. In both those situations, Shawn felt they should have lost to him because Bret was leaving the company and Hogan was just making a special appearance.

it's FAKE?!? oops..lol
That shows you the kind of guy that Shawn Michaels is, and in my opinion kills alot of the rumors of him being an egomaniac.
Even back in 1997 it was well-known that Bret Hart was being egotistical and refusing to loose the WWE Championship to Michaels, because Survivor Series was taking place in Montreal. And Hart refused to loose the title in his home country, because he was such a big celebrity there. Hart had already signed the deal with WCW, and wasn't cooperating with Vince or Shawn on the matter, so Vince had to devise a way to get the title back. It worked.
But Shawn could've easily stood his ground, and refused to participate in the match until Hart played ball. He didn't. He went along with it.
Same thing with Hogan. He should've put Michaels over. Despite both of them being older, Hogan is much older than Michaels, and should've done the right thing and jobbed. But Hogan, apparently from his personality on his own show, has proven he was never in wrestling for the love of the entertainment medium. He wanted money & fame, and that's it. Once he got, he was gone. Then when he lost it, he returned. When he regained it again, he was gone again. Hogan looks out for Hogan. He doesn't care squat about his fans or the business.
Shawn on the other hand does. And for someone like him to put a guy like Cena over, ESPECIALLY Cena, it just does to show how much he will sacrifice for the future of the WWE.
Shawn should've won at WM, and he's a better man than me. Because I would've refused to put Cena over, and would've stood my ground.

Well if putting cena over is sacrificing for the future of the wwe i wish that hbk would stop. That aside i still believe that he would be upset a little about it but maybe not the way said. i think most people would. But if he wasn't the least bit then that shows how much class he has. Maybe to much.
That's what i'm getting at. Even if HBK doesn't agree with the direction (like Cena being future), he'll still put over the kids, for the sake of the WWE.
That's classy.

It's sad too, because I used to. I really never knew until the last few years, how much his personality really is more like 'Hollywood' Hogan, not Hulk.
Like McMahon said... "Hulkamania to wrestling is Babe Ruth".
Which is true.
Too bad it couldn't be epic & enjoyable, as Hogan gracifully bows out, like Andre The Giant did. No, Hogan's got to be a pain in the ass at every freakin' corner.

He wants to get paid millions of dllars for a few apperences a year and to put on one HORRIBLE match and win.
I didn't get to see it, but last SummerSlam, a friend of mine told me Orton had to carry his ass the entire match.
If so...
That's freakin' sad, when Randy Orton has to step up to the plate to try his best to make freakin' Hogan look good.
When that happens, Hogan is sleeping through the match, and just waiting for the clock to run out, so he can pin.

The thing is, is that Hogan when in his prime couldn't wrestle. Now he is so old and so fricken stiff, (he can barley move) its boring.
