THQ is expanding it wrestling horizons. Expestling announce wwe smackdown vs raw 2008 tomorrow the southern california based publisher has confirmed with ign that the series weill be playable on more platforms than ever. In addition to the playstation2,sony psp, and xbox 360 systems on which it hsas already appeared the next iteration of smackdown will also debut on playstion3 wii and nintendo ds ths fall. in years previous nintendo had typically recived original game cube and game boy specific wwe titles insted of the smackdown franchise while the xbox consonole had the same tyope of arrangement until 2006 when svr mover over. A playstation3 version of last year's wwe smackdown vs raw 2007 was in development at some point but was ultimately cancelled due to undisclosed reasons. for more info go to www.ign.com

Hopefully they actually do some updating on the title, and add some more freakin' matches for GOD'S SAKE!

MITB matches should be unlimited as the how many players you can have.

Battle Royal matches should go up to 30-men

Inferno matches should be added

Slobber Knocker challenges should return

Fufill Your Fantasy matches should return

More legends should be unlockable in WWE Shop

More outfits should be unlockable in the WWE Shop. EVERY wrestler should have the option of plain clothes or ring gear.

I buy every WWE game there is and I'll be buying this one.

And please improve the GM mode. Like actually being able to choose who wins the match or not without having to play it.

That'd be a great addition too. Sometimes you need certain wrestlers to loose to continue feuds, and that's another thing. Feuds, rivalries, and storylines needs to be deeper, more interactive, and fixed.

And how about having characters updated when the game is fracking released, instead of it already being 6 months outdated

I think that's virtually impossible Simpson, unfortunately.

WWE rosters are a constantly revolving thing, and these games are made months in advance, because they have to put that kind of work into it.

The only way they could solve the outdated roster problem, is for those with an online linkup, provide a download for updated rosters, similar to what baseball & football games do.
