Welcome Back Krsimpson! biggrin.gif we have been busy posting.lol. I wanted Georgetown to win sad.gif cause I like rooting for the underdog but...they lost...and UCLA isn't looking to good right now. If Florida wins than I hope OSU beats them,I seem to hate Florida for some reason..lol *maybe its cuz they won last year? lol*

I think theirs going to be another Friday movie. Hopefully this time they have smokey. And i agree that Ice Cube needs to stop with the family stuff. Its funny to watch him in Boys n The Hood then see him on a comercial for a family movie.

That won't happen. Chris Tucker will never be in another "Friday".

Even with the upcoming "Rush Hour 3", despite not having done a film in six years, SINCE "Rush Hour 2", Tucker still demanded $20-million dollars for his price tag, and eventually New Line Cinema (who also distributes the "Friday" franchise), gave in.

Just Tucker's salary on "RH3", is about two-times, the entire budget for one "Friday" film.

If a "Friday 4" is done, it'll be Ice Cube & Mike Epps again. Which is not necessarily bad. "Next Friday" was great, but Part 3, "Friday After Next" was pretty weak.

Yeah i liked Next Friday. It made me laugh. Sucks that Tucker won't be in another one.

Does Tucker still even tour? I mean what has that guy done lately that he thinks he needs a huge paycheck? But, considering how Friday After Next was, they should leave the series as a trilogy.. anything else and its going to be too much and ruins the quality of the original.. like those annoying Star Wars movies.. sorry I had to say it.. i think they're terribly boring lol

I don't think so. After the scratch he made for "RH2", combined with the money he had made from all of his other films combined, I think he just walked away, and moved into a big mansion, like a black Howard Hughes.

In the last couple of years, several years after "RH2" was released in 2001, was the first time I had seen Tucker. He appeared on Hurricane Katrina relief show on NBC (the infamous one where Kanye West trashed Bush), and when he showed up to testify on Michael Jackson's behalf at Jackson's trial.

Lol, yeah. All West did was show how ignorant he is to how politics work.

Emergency issues are a state, county & city issue, not a federal one. Only when a state of emergency is declared does it become a federal issue. The bottom line is Nagin & the govenor of Louisiana got caught with their hand down their pants, and turned around and blamed everyone but themselves. Their contengency plans were crap.

And this is coming from someone who lived through a Hurricane, a nasty one at that. I know how it is getting relief, and when you don't get something it has nothing to do with the government. It's got to do with 'clicks' and local authorities segregating people. If the main people in power knew of this stuff, they'd immediately put a stop to it. And when people like the Prez come visit, they only see what everyone who's around them, want them to see. They're just human, and misled. Not behind it.

*end rant*

As for Tucker, I don't know, if I was in his position, maybe i'd done the same. He basically waited for that big payoff, got it, then retired at 30 years old, or however old.

Let me tell you how dumb nagin is "we will turn this city into a chocolate city". Enough said. The fact that everyone wants to blame bush is because its George Bush. People have just built up a blind hatred for the guy for no reason. Now the democrats want to play politics for the Attorny thing even though their was no wrong doing.

Right on. I don't really sway either way, but I hate when either side spins stuff.

I'm a moderate republican. Actually i'm more of an independent.
Axl
I'm more of a Ronald Reagan-type...

If anyone wanted to classify me, it'd probably be a liberal Republican...
