Everything is on DVD unless otherwise noted. A couple of the DVDs are burned, but they're all good quality. Although I don't really know what happens when you try to burn a burned DVD...

I still need to ask my roommate about using her fiancee's DVD burner, but since she goes to bed at 8:30 and I usually don't get home till after that, I've been out of luck! I'll let you guys know as soon as I find out.

I hear ya! I'm a David Duchovny freak. He didn't make a lot of movies but some of them were independent and very obscure and I killed myself to get them.

Thank you...obiviously they all deserve at least one drooly dude because VDO is in them, but I don't have the patience for all that right now...Yes, the Newton Boys is a good movie and VDO looks especially yummy in it IMHO.

Ooh, here this is on topic for real. I got confirmation of DVD burner usage. So now I need a list of who wants what and how we're working out money/trade. I need to go buy DVDs too. And I have to give my roommate my DVDs so she can take them to her fiancee's house (gulp)...I don't like turning those precious DVDs over to anyone!!

Doesnt bother me. But it seems like you have most of the movies ppl want and you will be doing most of the burning....think about it and if its still ok I think the way to go is to just let ppl know the cost of dvd and shipping and have us deposit it into a pay pal acct.

I appreciate you looking out for me Fabi...But if a trade can be made, I'd rather go that route. If not, we'll figure out shipping costs. As far as DVDs, there not expensive and I already have a ton of blanks on hand (former videographer).

Yeah that's okay as long as it's still decent. Let's put it this way...if it's clear enough that I am still able to do some drooling, then it's okay! (I really needed your drooly dude there.) I think if there's a trade available, I would rather do that too. But if someone just wants to get movies from me and they don't have anything in return, then I would take cost of blank DVD and shipping. So either way, it's fine.

But since I am going to be bumming off a friend here, I want to try to do them all at once. Or maybe in two batches. Basically, I just don't want to give my roommate movies every weekend to take down to her fiancee's house...they might both kill me then!

Okay, I looked at your list again, and I don't know which ones to "order" (HA)...I know I want Salt On Our Skin, but other than that, I am at a loss. A lot of the ones I know I could get from Best Buy or Amazon or whatever, I'd rather not make you deal with burning. So what other ones that you have are hard to find?

I had trouble getting my hands on The Red Sneakers, The Dangerous Lives of Altar Boys, Crooked Hearts, and had to order The First Turn-On direct from Troma...

Red Sneakers and First Turn-On aren't that good...definately for the die-hard fan.

Dangerous Lives of Altar Boys is a good movie, but VDO had only a small supporting role.

Crooked Hearts is pretty good and VDO is a featured player.

OH, and Signs of Life! It's a pretty decent drama, VDO is featured, and I couldn't find it anywhere on DVD...I have an old used VHS...There's a buried treasure for ya!
