Bobby, would you like to go to subway with me? I have a buy one get one footlong free coupon? :smiles:

Moark, there should only be one question at a time on the board. You should answer the question the flying monkey asked before asking yours. In the meantime, Bobby will answer yours and I will post the same question that the flying monkey asked.

Answer: Yes, I'll go to Subway with you. I'll do whatever you want for a foot long roast chicken with black olives (...wink....) rolleyes.gif

Bobby, what would your ideal day consist of?

Answer: It basically go to work, then come home to Moark, feed her, go to bed, Call Jryan and Krod on the phone, or talk to them via facebook, set up another date with my girlfriend, when Moark's alseep watch that ever inapporiate South Park, and then if it's a day where I have to go to work at night, I tell, Gloria, my neightbor, to wake up Moark for school, because heaven knows she'll never get up, then I come home, I again call Krod, or Jryan to see what they're up to. Exchange a very dirty phone talk with my girlfriend, go have a beer, make sure Moark didn't leave her homework home, again. Go to the grocery store to pick up mor milk, I have to do that like everyday. And that's basically it.

Moark: Thanks for the explanation. Bobby what do you like to do for fun?
flashymom
My ideal day would consist of time well-spent with you, my dear NLFann.

Bobby, would you ever date female police officer? (Besides Alex, that is; you've made it quite clear you're not interested in her in that way.)

Answer- Black. It's just so perfect on them.

Moark- But, but, but. You mean you're going to date and marry Jryan? And then she's going to be my stepmother?

Why? Why do you have to date her? I like her, but as a stepmother? God.

Bobby if you won't date Alex, will you al least find a kind, warmhearted women like her with the same moral decency?

This is LOCI fantasy land......Bobby doesn't sound like a pervert, ever. Many women around here would ::THUD!!:: if Bobby did that to them. So, no, I really don't think I need to edit the post. Even if you are very young, Bobby would say that to you with a wink and nod, to flatter you, to make you feel beautiful and special. That's part of what we love about him.

Never. I'm not crazy about heights even though I did go up on a high rise construction site one time and pretend to lose my balance to test out a theory I had about a suspect who worked there. That incident still gives me chills whenever I think of it.

Bobby, what's your favorite snack food?

Deakins. I think it said something like "Out for a drink of lunch"...or something to that effect...And now when I look, its not there anymore...cant for the LIFE of me find out in which epi I saw it...Driving me nuts! (because I'm not sure if that is precisely what it says...)

The cricket didn't interest me nearly as much as the co-eds did. I just know it's a favorite of the locals there.

(It's getting harder to think of questions the longer we keep going!)
NLfann
QUOTE (flashymom @ Jan 26 2009, 09:46 AM) *
Bobby, do you have any regrets?

Some. For the most part I think I've done the best I could with the options that were available to me. For years I felt that I somehow failed both my mother and Frank but I'm working on getting past that guilt because, rationally, I know I did the best I could for them. I regret not paying more attention to the circumstances Jo Gage was living in during her formative years. Perhaps I could have made a difference there by bringing attention to it. With Declan, I regret that I didn't confront him about his formaldehyde abuse years ago. It may not have made a difference but at least I would know that I tried. I also wish I had dealt with my resentment against my father, or the man I thought was my father. That lingering resentment has caused me lapses in judgment that were often neither fair nor rational. I love children and I regret not having any of my own. I tell myself that there is still time but I think I need a reality check on that one. One big regret is not communicating effectively to Eames how much I depend on and appreciate her partnership and her friendship. I took too much for granted for too long. Without her support for the past few years I think I would have folded under the pressure. I'm working on being more open in our relationship.

Bobby, did you discuss all of this with Dr. Olivet?

Parts of it, she definitely thinks that I should be more open with Eames as she is the closest to me now that my family has gone. She is a great support to me and I believe that now I can turn a corner and be more positive about things. Plus I need to up my game now that we're getting a new guy who also happens to be an ex-partner of my captain. I'm not talking about being friends with the guy but making sure that I work on clashing less with the Captain or else I may find myself with the less interesting cases or worse out of a job.

Bobby, is there anything that could affect your more positive way of thinking?

I need to put more effort into enjoying my personal life. For years I let things slide because I was so tied up with my mother and my job. I plan to touch base again with good friends like Lewis. I used to enjoy working out and I plan to get back into it again. I love to read and for a while I just couldn't focus on anything but I have started to read again. I love the arts - music, dance, theater - and I recently bought tickets for a Broadway show. I bought two tickets so I'd have to ask a date. I'm a bit nervous about getting back into the dating game but I'm excited also. I think I'm making progress.

Bobby, who do you plan to ask to attend the Broadway show with you?

I was hoping to ask Noor. She appreciates the arts and theater as much as I do, and she's a classy lass with a wicked sense of humour. (her quick wit reminds me of Eames too!) After the show, we'd probably go for a walk and she'll want to talk books...She will also let me read without asking questions like "what are you reading" or saying stuff like "penny for your thoughts".... I hate that. So I'm leaning towards asking Noor.

Bobby, what if Noor can't make it...? Do you know someone else who'd enjoy going? - not only for the date, but for the theater as well...

Flashymom would definately enjoy the theater. She's been in musicals, operas, dramas and really appreciates the hard work and effort that go into pulling off an effortless performance. Plus, she'll sing all the songs to me while we're walking in the park.

It largely depends on how the date is going. If the woman doesn't seem that into me (I can hear you all gasping, but it's been known to happen) if that happens, of course I never would intrude on her. But if she seems to like me, I've been known to give her a little something extra to remember me by. wink.gif

I always enjoy taking a beautiful woman out to dinner, as long as she's not involved in a relationship. I don't poach on territory that belongs to someone else. If you are available, sure, I'd love to take you to dinner. How about Friday, say around 7. Do you like Italian? I know a great Italian restaurant. Give me your address and I'll pick you up.

Bobby, how do you feel about one night stands?

Not really. I'm trying to come to terms with everything that's happened to me in the last year. My life is no longer recognizable. The only constants right now are work and Eames. Hopefully, I can find happiness, but it may take me a while.

Maybe if Ross screw's up!
Bobby, would you be fair if you were Captain, or an ass like Ross can be?

I would try to be, but I don't think I'm captain material. I've rubbed too many people up the wrong way and being a manager (of sorts) would mean that I would have less time to solve cases and profile killers, these are my strengths.
Anyways, Ross is like me. An acquired taste. We're getting used to each other.

I really enjoy all types of women but I think it would take a very special woman to commit to a long term relationship with me. For one thing, the demands associated with my job would be very hard on a relationship. Another issue is the fact that I'm not so young any more and I've lived alone for a long time, so I'm kind of set in my ways. My financial situation is not too healthy either. I haven't been exposed to any successful, long term relationships so I would probably make a lot of mistakes. To deal with all of this, a woman would need to be pretty strong and independent but caring also. She would definitely need to have a lot of patience and understanding. I tend to get bored easily so she would need to be intelligent and well read to hold my interest long term. Sharing my interest in music and the arts would certainly be a big benefit also. Even though it's kind of late in the game for me now, I've always wanted children. I would like her to be open to that option even though my genetics is a big concern. I've always been partial to tall women with long, dark hair but I think I've finally matured because I've gone past judging women by their looks. Character and personality are more attractive to me now, but nice set of ... legs never hurts. (Chuckle!)

Bobby, have you ever used an on-line relationship site such as eHarmony? If not yet, would you ever?
