I have cheered for you from the very beginning and have not seen what any of the judges have seen if it was negative!! You truly have a God given talent and you need to follow your heart. I love the way that you and your wife talk about what you are going to sing and plan your path together, that is so important. Seeing how important your family is to you is a big part of what won me over, not just your talent. You have that hands down, but you are humble, love your family and God and are not afraid for anyone to see it. That is rare these days in anyone let alone a performer. No matter what happens on this show you will go far in your future, God has big plans for you! I only have one thing that I would have changed in your songs and that is to have asked you to sing a Josh Turner song. I think your voice is perfect for his songs. He is one of my favorite people also.
I think that Blake is a great guy and I like his music because he does sing good old country songs,but I don't like that he can't see where you are as an artist. Define yourself?? I think it is because on any of your songs you can make your voice sound so different. You can sing any way anybody wants you to sing, every song doesn't sound the same. That to me is a good thing, but I think that is what he is talking about. I don't know what else it could be, your no different than the rest with your different songs each week and they are all country!
