I think Zac's choice of doing Lady was a good one..
I think he won extra votes when he did that one..

He even had MS. Brown weak kneed...

I think that by doing Lady he put a big push on what the final votes will be...

He's said all along that he's had a strategy for the show... which is why some time ago I posted about how I thought he was a "game genius". Not to OVER-estimate what his strategy may or may not have been, but how can you argue with the results???

I loved him more and more each week. Since I liked him so much right from the beginning, each week I got nervous before I heard him perform (please notice I didn't say "sing" --- he's not just a singer... he clearly was the best PERFORMER on the show this season) By the 3rd or 4th week, I was nervous no more... just anxious... excited... to see how he would wow the audience that week. Of course, it only angered me even more so when he got the comments from the judges that he did...

Anastasia was even downright rude and unprofessional a couple of times (reference the comment about how a bad attitude could ruin an artists' career, "then I remembered you don't have one" --- --- or perhaps when Blake complimented Zac and Anastasia coyly said "oh come on, would you REALLY give Zac a record deal right now????" --- DEM'S FIGHTING WORDS, MISSY!!!!)

Anyway, she was fighting a losing battle. This week she just couldn't deny it and sound sane.

Well I think it was a great choice. I loved it. Will this be up on itunes? Cause I need it.

When it started out I was thinking, NO WAY, and then, I just kept listening, and listening, and TOTALLY realized I'm gonna marry that man someday LOL. He was BRILLIANT with his song choice, and chose the PERFECT week to sing to the women in the audience, I LOVE his strategy, and that's TOTALLY what makes a Nashville Star! I'm SOOO hoping he wins, which, as we all know, win or lose, he's gonna get a contract, no two ways about it, this man is just AMAZING. Seven years isn't all that much an age difference is it? lol.

By the way, RodeoClown, I love your name because, my dad used to sing with a band that went by that name. That was like ages ago it feels like, it was like back when I was just starting with performing, 9 years ago, OMG! Well, anyways, thanks for the post!

Oh yeah---that was a win win win song choice. Brilliant strategy!! I love that song. If he doesn't take this show by a storm I'll be surprised. I prefer him to his sister hands down. I think after the last performance he was way on top.

Well, if he doesn't win... (which is hard for me to imagine after that performance)... if his strategy was to at least go out in style... on top, so to speak... he did it!!!

Even if this is all he ever gets as far as major stardom... (as if... hehehe)... as long as he continues making music back home in Alabama, I'll go see him any time I get the chance.

If he continues writing songs like all of the originals he has done so far, he will at the very least be a majorly successful songwriter.

I have one thing to say! This young man can sing! I never thought anyone could take a song like lady and do a better job than kenny, but he went over and beyond in doing so! He is just awesome! He has stolen the hearts of young and old alike. I've never called in on contest like this before, but this young man made me go to the phone! He has done an incredible job on the show! He is also a fantastic song writter as well. He has turned Nashville Star into one of my favorite programs!! I wish him the best of luck in his singing career. I have no doubt that he will win, he is just to good not too! Zac, keep up the good work!!

I don't think Zac will have any problems winning! His sister is good too, but Zac has a one of a kind voice that will take him to the top!

I'd be okay with that... he'd still do songwriter's showcases... less Barbie Dolls drooling over him and throwing themselves at him that way. More for me...
