I know that he has probably got his song selection, but it did not dawn on me of who his voice reminds me of...Marc Broussard, who coincidentally is from Louisiana as well. If David can get that deep cajun voice going, I would love to hear him sing "Home" by Marc.

We saw in the video clips him singing Jambalya and that would be a good one to sing as well with his cajun flavor!

Hey guys.....I think he has decided to just have a good time this week and is going to do a song that he can play with, move around, and entertain the audience! He is going to do "Louisiana Saturday Night"! If he makes it into the final two he and the other contestant will be singing another song too. I also think they are doing part of one of the songs from a previous week that the viewers vote on. So go vote for your favorite that he has already done..........

Thanks for all your suggestions and keep watching for the tour, his CD, and any concerts he gives near you. I'm sure all of your song favs for him will be done at some point as they are all great and/or songs he has done exceptionally well before!

Hey guys,
Another change of plans. The show has told the contestants that they have to do the whole version of the song that was chosen by the voters. In David's case that will be Wave on Wave. They are not letting them do another song choice as originally planned....bummer! If he makes it into the final two, he will be doing a duet with the other final contestant. So keeping our fingers crossed. There will be an "all sing" with all 10 contestants and Randy. And I think Jewel will be singing again. I guess with showcasing all that they ended up with not enough time for the three contestants to do another song choice! But, Louisiana Saturday Night would have been killer!!!!!!!!! I'm bummed, how about you?

gosh...that sucks, but i think by far wave on wave was his best performance!!! Yes.....Louisiana Saturday Night would have rocked the house, but i think wave on wave will too! GOOD LUCK DAVID!!!

Ok first off ,this is not DSR bashing from me ok
But I did a vote and it showed all the contestants had about 5%

Then about 2 hours later I did it again and DSR was leading
done this several times and at some point each contestant was way a head
And none of the votes showed the same as before

So I don't really believe that thing is correct at any point as its lead changes and drops about every few hours and at one time someone had 57% and now they all back to about 30%

But that think has changed percentage from high to almost starting over numerous times....

So he has to practice his song, one with Angela and one with Zac and then with all 10

Brannie tell DSR no matter who wins that during his Tour that all the contestants should have met enough people by now that can put them in with people to help them get where they want to go..

I have no doubt. I would have loved to have seen some of that from him during the show. I think it would have shown a side of him that both of the Hackers lack.

I know this one is kind of out of left field, but a local band here, The Povertyneck Hillbillies, have a song called The Hillbilly Way. I think that would have been a good one for him as well.
