Though John Mellencamp doesn't always come to mind when one thinks of country music or of Nashville Star, after listening to David St. Romain sing....I sincerely wish he would try one of his songs...his voice is amazing and would shine with that kind of song....and since the judges aren't sure of who he is as a performer it wouldn't hurt for him to branch out a bit and give it a whirl....

Hey say you are absolutetly right. A John Mellencamp would work great for him. I'm not sure of which one at the moment though. I say the Final is going to be very close. I wish all of them the very best.

I think that he should sing Clay Walkers - Rumor Has it- I think his voice and style would be perfect for that song.

:D David, I would love you to listen to an 80's rock song by Indiana's Henry Lee Summer: "I wish I had a girl who walked like that". It's got a great county/rock feel and may be something special with your talent. Henry Lee Summer is a talented songwriter who still performs on fair/festival circuit.
