His wife did not make the decisions, they are a team, she simply gave her opinion. They look like a great couple!!!

i think you need to step back and regroup buddy. The last thing that you want to do is get into a battle with the DSR family. As far as his wife goes you would be better of wrestling a wild tiger than tangle with her she is way out of your league.

Maybe many don't know a good marriage is twosome, loving, respecting, partnership. Sharing a life, goals, and making decisions together help make the marriage union stronger. On Monday the 26th, I will be celebrating 35 wonderful years with a wonderful man. We haven't made it this far by each trying to run the whole show alone. I sure seems that DSR and his wife have all the makings of a truly wonderful marriage. I'm all over that kind of an attitude toward life. I'd like DSR to take the show by a storm. Of the three left, he'd be the best role model for fans of all ages.

Blake Shelton certainly knows nothing about what makes a truly wonderful marriage, and definitely no respect to women in my eyes with what he told David last night. I used to be a huge Blake Shelton fan. I won't be renewing my fanclub membership or going to see him in concert anymore. (I saw him not long ago in concert, and yes I know he likes to joke and but I feel that he was way out of line, alot this season).
I feel that of all three contestants remaining, that DSR has it all!

Maybe this is a post you should have left on the general discussion board. The producers/judges have more say on what songs David sings than he or his wife. You need to read the post in David's thread "by Brannie55 about support" ~ David chose the song he wanted to sing & the show told him to choose between two other songs. Hello? Duh?

Sorry but I'm getting a little riled up over these kind of post - for any of the contestants. They are all friends so maybe we should try to be. I don't go and leave negative criticism on any of the contestants forums - they have the right to have fans who are showing support for them ~ not trashing them.

I definately agree. I couldn't believe how disrespectful he was being to David and his wife. That one comment alone changed my opinion of him & how I feel about buying anymore of his music. I would love to be in a relationship that was a true partnership where my husband truley valued my opinion.

Yes, I agree. The wife didn't pick the song for him she just made a suggestion. They are a cute couple! smile.gif
