Pardon me, I know this is a RAW message board but Im assuming it applies to all of WWE, so with that, I was just wondering.. What happened to the extreme no rules matches? Besides December to Dismember, It's been forever since Ive seen one. If you remember back to the summer, those were without question the most entertaining matches of the week, For example that Ric Flair vs Big Show match, when they pulled out Cactus Jack's barbed wire baseball bat or when Ric got choke slammed on all of the tacks, and also not to mention that crazy-ass Barb Wire Table.. I mean its just getting boring now and I dont get how the fued with the originals vs the new guys came to be.. Its like a cheap ratings gimmick with no premise? But I do understand that Big Show needed a vacation but I doubt I'll watch it much now until he comes back.. but oh yeah, can anyone explain to me what happened to Paul Heyman? I mean granted I didnt like the guy, but he kind of made it what it was too and now ofcourse hes never on..

Well sorry for the repost, I just scrolled down and noticed the same topic.. Well im glad im not the only one that felt the same way that it was sucking lately.. its really too bad... I really hope cm punk, sabu, rvd, and dreamer atleast stay in WWE and not goto/back to TNA if ECW does in fact get canned..

can i ask why? TNA sucks man.. and im not just saying it because im a wwe 'mark, i gave it a chance back when kurt angle joined, but idk, its obviously a matter of opinion..

and speaking of joining tna, i heard on the wire that the owner of it was talking to Paul Wight, aka Big Show..

Thats your opinion obvioulsy I don't agree with it. I don't see Big Show in TNA. I'd be very suprised and apauld if he went to TNA. He dosen't fit with what tna is. Which is high flying action and very physical ground base offense. Not that he isn't physical but he wouldn't phisically be capable of wrestling with the guys tna has unless he drops 200 pounds.

TNA does not suck. TNA is in a building process, and like with all things 'new wrestling', these things take time. The execution of WCW was atrocious in the beginning too.

There's alot of talented wrestlers at TNA, it's just gonna take some time, folks. But TNA in my book is already better than ECW, and is quickly gaining on RAW & SD.

As for the topic at hand, i've asked myself the same question. ECW used to be the cool 'cult' wrestling show. The shocking wrestling show. The WWE had the chance at something great reviving it full-time, but failed. Instead, all ECW has become is the new Sunday Night Heat or Velocity.

It's also became the WWE graveyard... where good wrestlers go to die. Show, Angle, and soon Lashey & RVD will be canned. I think RVD's time is over with the WWE, personally. He put on a great match against Edge Monday on RAW, but I think he's TNA-bound. jmo

As for Lashley, dunno. I don't see him fitting in at TNA, nor returning to SD.

They don't think that they are real gangsters. Its a gimmick. I've met Homicide at an ROH show and he didn't act like he was a gangster. If anybody believes in their real gimmick its Cena. And he doesn't even act like his gimmick all the time. Thats my opinion.

Yeah that was going to be the big Pay-Per-View, Paris, France, 1992 show. Jeff Beck had to cancel, but the show still featured Lenny Kravitz with GN'R performing "Always On The Run" and Steven Tyler & Joe Perry doing a double song duet with the band on "Mama Kin" & "Train Kept A Rollin".

One of their best shows, if not 'the' best!

I don't watch TNA but when I did LAX really impressed me. Personally I would hope WWE picks them up down the line.

And as for the original topic at hand, ECW: I haven't watched it in weeks and really I see no reason to. I gave it a chance but it has become a low rent 3rd brand, a new version of Heat. It's only ECW in name. The original ECW is totally separate in my mind.
