You know you're a Psych fan when you're taking the GRE and there is a question regarding the definition of the word "lassitude." You're not sure what it means, but you're immediately certain it must have something to do with Lassiter's attitude.

(So sad - a true story. It's a miracle I got a decent score on that exam at all...)

LOL- why couldn't I get a cool question like that on my GRE?! Then again, I'm sure it worked to diffuse some anxiety on your part

-when you get your friend obsessed with Psych. I already got him into Burn Notice, and one day he randomly watched Psych. I'm so proud.
-when you and said friend quote Psych at each other a ton. (ex. "Good luck on your test! H's and K's" or "Collecting donations for the policeman's ball?")
-when you want said friend to ask you to prom by buying you a pineapple a la Shawn and singing you a Psych-out song.

Graduate Record Exam

Kind of like and SAT for graduate school. You take it after undergrad if you want to get a masters or PhD

Yep, the math is about the same as the SAT, but the vocabulary on the GRE is *Killer*... there's also a writing portion, like the new SAT has (at least I think... they didn't have the writing portion when I took the SATs)

Yep, there's a Writing portion. The Verbal portion became Reading.

i took the sats in 7th grade.

idk what i got overall but i got in the 60th percentail of all college bound seniors on the english part. and i didnt write the essay. lol. but i got two points for it. i never got that. lol.

- Your kid names her two new goldfish "Shawn" and "Gus"...honestly, even I probably wouldn't have even thought of that, yet she did! And she's really only allowed to watch about 15 minutes of every episode...which would mean I watch a lot of episodes, LOL

Good idea to watch the Lost DVDs... you really have to watch it in order and all of it to keep up.
2nd season (if I recall correctly) was not my *favorite* had some really high points, but some other things I just wasn't that interested in... but still important in the large scheme of things

You are at Costco waiting for your pizza and smoothie to be ready and talking to your friend when you see a pineapple in somebody's cart in the corner of your eye and completely lose your train of thought because you are thinking about how much you need this show to be on television. Of course you are in the middle of a sentence when you see it, and when you stop talking your friend follows your eye line to the pineapple, looks at you, rolls their eyes and says, "You are wayyyy too obsessed with that show and next time you say anything about it I am going to throw something at you."


I almost said, "Like a pool skimmer or a pool noodle?" but he could have thrown something that could inflict pain so I didn't haha
