Even though you're totally stoked about the podcast... you're also a little disappointed that very few friends IRL will understand your complete and totally freak out over it--but you let the one friend who will kinda understand know anyhow ASAP!

I know how you feel, none of my friends understood the awesomeness of the podcast

when you absolutely freak and spaz everytime you see anything that has to do with a pineapple, or a psychmobile copier and your mom has to say to you "honey, you cant behave like that in public, people will think you should be in an institution." but you continue to take a picture of it.
ex: you walk into your local ice cream vendor and see a picture of a pineapple sunday on the door
i got lots more but idont feal like typing em all
lol

1. When the occasion calls to bring a girl flowers you bring a pineapple. Even though she has no idea what Psych is!

2. When you add the word "REALLY!!!" into a conversation as more of a rhetorical exclamation then a question.

3. When you find yourself attracted to girls with blond hair that look even slightly like Juliet or any girl you can justify calling Jules.

4. When you start calling your friend random nicknames every time you introduce yourselves.

And yes I am guilty of giving a pineapple when the occasion called for flowers.

when:

1: you go through these posts & laugh nodding "yes, me too!!" to pretty much all of them.
2: you celebrate tuesday the 17th by buying the 2nd season on DVD & watching for the rest of the day.
3. you finish that entire set of season 2 AND the first half of season 3 in less than a week.
4. " wait for it, wait for iiiiiit." is used on a frequent basis.
5. the fact that maggie lawson played a character with your name in Fear Itself along side James makes
you WAY happier than it should.
6. after the podcast your new fave expression is " jumping the shark."
7. you want guys to know that they should treat girls " like a person, then a princess, a greek goddess,
& then a person again."
8. you want a horoscope written for you personally.
9. you want to be a roller derby girl like KICKASS undercover jules.<3
10. when you think someone is cranky, you answer " whoah, TUDE!"
11. whenever someone makes a random & pointless comment you respond " frogs can't swallow with their eyes open."

when you re-watch an entire episode just to hear one funny line that you haven't heard in a while

When a guy asks you out on Friday, and you say, "But that's Psych-Time!" And then immediately try -and fail- to cover it up with, "I mean, I have plans."
I've actually done this before. Isn't that sad?

I had an 45 minute philosophical debate last friday because someone miss-understood my comment " frogs can't swallow with their eyes open" (which of course followed some random and pointless comment on their behalf.) Unfortunately they hear "rocks can't swallow with their eyes closed", which then of course lead to a debate over the validity of the truth of this statement.

This could only happen to a psych fan!

When you like to rewatch every episode multiple times but your brother thinks you're weird for it. He just doesn't understand that an episode can still be entertaining after the 10th time you watch it.

Good humor never gets old.

I re-watch episodes all the time!!! Which brings me to my next point: when you've watched almost 8 episodes in the last 2 days because it's spring break and you finally have the time, and you know you won't have time once school starts up again!!!

You know information/trivia from the 1st and 2nd season commentaries better than the general 3rd season episodes simply because you don't have those DVDs (yet... July 30th can't come soon enough)!

When you've just gotten the season 2 dvd and fake sick one day so you can have a marathon.

I'm on spring break too but I don't have very much time to watch them because I'm on vacation. But I really would watch them if I wasn't skiing all day. And my dad's computer would play the DVD...

......when you're watching The Mentalist and think, "Hmmm...I've seen this storyline somewhere before."

1. When you try to read every post on this forum in a attempt to catch up!

2. When you manage to work in a reference to pineapple a least once a day.

3. When you experience psych withdraw after the season is over.

It's gonna be a bit hard to catch up on this board... I would know, I did the same thing

- You're playing Oregon Trail (still love that game after all these years!) and you name all the people in your party after Psych characters... and have a spaz, almost cry, and quit the game when Shawn dies of internal injuries.

- Your teacher is handing out candy and you see pineapple-flavored hard candy in the candy basket and immediately snatch it out.

You walk through a crowded room, pick up your cell phone, and yell "I do not have pancake butt!" (It's hysterical! You should try it!)

....when you drive by a restaurant called "Gus' Diner" and can picture Shawn and Gus eating a double-stuffed chalupa and an pineapple upside down cake.

..also..when you're stuck at work waiting for graphics approvals on a Friday night at 6:00pm, instead of checking out CNN, you hit the Psych BBoard.

Or you could picture them just sitting there in the diner staring at the awesomeness of some Fries Quatro Queso Dos Fritos

That's it!! I couldn't remember what they called that thing! LOL!

And at the same time, as Heartbreak_Princess said, scream "I do not have Pancake Butt" in the diner..LOL!

...When you actually make a batch of fries quattro queso dos fritos for a get together with some co-workers

...When you're known for saying "seriously?" as a statement of surprise, and people are wondering why that has recently changed to "really?"

...When you're the last person to realize that you're actually saying "really?" now


On the other hand, I don't like Red Robin, and so far I still have managed to stay away from craving it again...we'll see how long that lasts, lol.

Actually I had to go back to some of the earlier topics to see what they were, but yeah... lol - *cough* ehh (I'm sick, sorry i'm just typing what i'm also kinda saying).

When you walk around school (or work, for other people) laughing at psych quotes, then having people look at you and ask what your laughing at then reply with the quote that got you laughing in the first place. (For me it was "Pff, we'll just get a women's large." lol)
