When you know that you need to return the first season to your best friends sister but you just can't stand to part with it so you start to make up excuses as to why you are not done with it yet

current excuse - going back and watching all the episodes with commentary...

same thing with me and my season 2dvd....but its mine..and i have to give it to my brothers friend...
i'll use that one next!

When you're on your knees begging your mother every day to pleeeease give you the season two DVD early for your birthday. To which she refuses, and you consider crying.

There is absolutly NO possible ways that I can get out of the dance!!

i would but i moved my senior year to Kansas (ugh) and have NO intentions of going back there to mingle with people i barely even knew...

However plans are in the works for me to crash the 10 year reunion of the high school i would have graduated from here in the big CO

actually we've been planning to crash '99 's reunion too because we had so many more friends there then in our own year

i will let you know how THAT goes.

Well, I see your point...I'd think that seeing Lassie dressed up as Honest Abe would come from an even more bizarre set of circumstances....which I'm sure would be fun!

Anyway....YKYAPFW...

you constantly evaluate sitations you see on a daily basis for their "Shawnability"...that is, the likelihood Shawn would be in such a situation. For instance, everytime I pass the 3 military bases down the road from me, I keep having recurring thoughts of Shawn and Gus involved in a mystery that somehow involves the military.

I saw Tim on an episode of Without A Trace (I think it was that), and he looked a bit like Abraham Lincoln He had a beard.

You know you're a Psych fan when:
-You do a victory dance every time you convert someone to watching Psych (I did that today=D))
-You make about thirty different references to Psych every day and laugh while your friends look mystified.

K, this will probably get me excommunicated by every Tim fan (of which I still consider myself, BTW)....if not from the board itself, I just couldn't resist!!!!!

... When you're anywhere in real life and, seeing a pineapple, you get excited. And whenever you're with fellow Psych fanatics, you tell them you found a pineapple.

... When situations bring quotes to mind, and you say them out loud.

... When you miss the newest episode on Friday and get up as early as possible on Saturday to watch it on the internet.


I probably have more, just can't think of them right now.

These are all me. The other day I was at the store, and they had pineapple, and I swear -- I almost snapped a picture of it with my camera phone, just to have a picture of a pineapple.

2. Every time you see a little blue "Gus" car on the road you laugh.
3. You watch Psych episodes over and over and over and over.
4. You google James Roday and have to read/watch everything out there on him! (I'm hopelessly addicted to him!!!!)
5. Start giving your friends/kids funny nicknames.
6. When you pretend you have "Shawnvisions".

The really weird thing is, I already gave people funny nicknames way before the first time I watched Psych.

when for your birthday(which was yesterday), your parents buy you a pineapple AND make a pineapple out of frosting on your cake. (the funny thing is that it wasn't my idea to have a pineapple on my cake. they just did it because i talk about them so much)

I am definitely using Dude far more often, and I didn't even notice until she was watching an ep with me and was like, 'Hey, are you saying Dude so much lately because you watch this show so obsessively?' :] Then I was like, 'Dude, you're right!' without even realizing I was saying dude again.

Hey, I'm new here, actually I just registered because I couldn't resist getting in on the converstation! Heres what I have to add to
You Know You're A Psych Fan When....

1. You shout "Yahtzee!" instead of bingo (Surprised no one else said that)
2. You have dreams where your making out with James despite the fact he is almost 19 years older than you... (Yeah, I have problems.)
3. You have been answering your friends emails with one word, so she asks whats wrong, and you reply by twisting a Psych qoute around: I'm taking Mono-Thio-Huxtable. It's a drug for pancake-reactic function. But it causes headaches, stomachaches, toothaches, weight gain, weight loss, balding, severe oily bowel discharge, and, in very rare cases, it makes you pee fire. (Whats more, she is extremely gullible, and actually thought I was taking the drug and getting all the side affects!!!!)
4. You've see each episode that has been on the site at least 20 times because you do cyber school and decide to watch Psych instead of doing school work, so you end up staying in school until August!

Just a few day to day things that happen to me involving Psych. But I can probably find a ton more....
