This show is the highlight of my week and it amazes me how funny it is without falling into a dumb and dumber style (which I find stupid).

Kudos to the cast, creators, producers, directors, writers and any one involved in creating this masterpiece of TV comedy!

when you quote Psych among your psych fan friends (that you converted) and they don't get it and your completly flabergasted they forget it.

1. when you start laughing very loud during the spelling bee and get disqualifyed. (true story)
2. you kick your non-psych friends out of your house because it is the premere and they will just get in the way (also true story)
3. your friends dont come over anymore because they know that they will be stuck with watching all the episodes on my dvr and season one dvd. (ohhk there all true!)
4. you fist bump with your friends even though they have no idea what it means.
5. you have always hated pineapple but for some strange reason you cant stop eating it.
6. lol at a scene that you saw a month ago.
7. everything reminds you of psych cause youre so addicted.
8. you spend your free time on youtube watching psych fan vids.
9. you pretend to be a psychic just to see if people believe it...and they do..
10. when you give your friends shawn-isims.
11. you know everything about each and every episode in season one (thank you audio commentary!)
12. you know every word in all episodes in season one.
13. you laugh everytime you see an echo and wish you had that car
14. you use dude in every sentence.

hmm.. i could see that as annoying and a bit insulting on Psych's part sure pineapple is awesome but yah who would make a show all about pineapple anyway

when your friends all know not to ask you to go out on friday and you feel insulted that someone asks you to go out on Friday

When your friends try to force you to hang out on friday night (of cource at 10!) by saying "oh, just use your dvr.....or....they have it on the website!" and you dont even think about going with them even for a second

I do that too. I don't do anything on Friday night's when Psych is on.

Every 5 mins, you remind all your friends that psych comes on tonight.

You tell you friends every time you see them what episode is premiering.

You tell stories to people as though every character on Psych is a real person, not fictional characters.

I also talk to my friends as though they should know who the characters are even though but two of them know one's a fan and one's a watcher (idon't know what to classify her as she's not quite in fandom)

All this banana talk definitely had me thinking Psych when a good friend posted her newest pregnancy update... she's 20 weeks along and the fetus is now "about the length of a banana", LOL! Made me think of all of you and this discussion.

(The website she gives her updates to gives a vegetable or fruit for each week of the pregnancy to compare the size of the fetus to.)

when you overhear someone say "rockemsockem" and all you can think of is Shawn(and Gus) of the Dead and all Shawn's names for the mummy. then you spend the next couple minutes laughing to yourself because youre running through the episode in your head
