When you are sitting at work, not even looking at any pictures, and you realize that the picture on the cover of the season 2 box set is a mirror image, because when James Roday does that lopsided grin he usually squints his left eye, not the right.

When you look up all the actors/actresses on IMDB to see what else they've been in. Even the minor characters that only show up for one show.

When you're usually an anti-social person, but you feel the need to plan a huge Psych party so you can share the love.

When you sit through the newest episode of House thinking I know that actor" playing the PI, only to realize... HORNSTOCK! It's the actor who played Hornstock in Cloudy, Chance of Murder! (Not to mention the fact that, the first show you asked yourself about him bring in was Psych, even if there are many other shows that get many more one part actors)

Psych is about the only really worthwhile comedy on TV now. I enjoy the stories, the repartee, and the characters. I liked Corbin B. as a lawyer, and now as a crotchety father. I also enjoyed Dulé Hill on the West Wing and would like to see him get a bit more than a Rochester or Step-n-Fetchit role. In all, it's a great program. I wish it could come back before January.

yea i saw that too! when i saw that sene it was kinda far away and i was like is that.....IT IS! and then i was happy. i think he's gonna be on the next ep, too.

that guy(hornstock...i don't know his real name) was also on Scrubs and Bones!

You also know you're a Psych fan when...

...lying in bed at 1am (even if you have to wake up at 6am), you're listening to audio commentaries on your TV to help you fall asleep when you suddenly realize that executive producer Kelly Kolchak says "YeaYeaYea" all quick and together like Shawn does... which then causes you to continue to lie there awake trying to figure out if James Roday picked up on that from her and decided to add it in to mock her, or if she picked it up from the show, or if it nothing but a coincidence...

...then you continue to lay there awake thinking about how you'll need to post the thought on the boards under this vary thread

Kelly says it in one of the commentaries for either the Pilot, or on the 2nd DVD of Season 1 (I think... she may do it other times too, but I'm pretty sure that's what I was watching when I heard it).

For Shawn, I think he does it fairly often... its actually something I just associate with the character, like calling Lassiter "Lassie"... or doing fist bumps...

Oh, but he definitely does it in "From the Earth to Starbucks" when asked if he can run the planetarium show

Oh yeah! I just couldn't get an image of shawn saying that in my head and I'm not a big commentary watcher.

you miss your very first high school football game because Talk Derby To Me was new that night, and you'd been waiting to see it ever since the overview of the new season was put up on the website in July

They do this in the 2nd season blooper reel. I think it's the cutest picture of shawn and gus ever!!!!!

its from "Meat is Murder but Murder is Also Murder" (you can see Gus's Uncle Burton in the background) its not in the episode itself...i think its from a blooper

1. When trying to remember something, you put your forefingers to your temples, and make the sound (you all know it)
2. You just went camping near Santa Barbara and seriously considered looking for the Santa Barabara police station and the Psych Office on the way home.
3. You got home from camping and saw a scene with the coastline of Santa Barbara and tried to line it up with GoogleEarth and later realize that the show is taped in Canada and tried to GoogleEarth that only to realize... Canada has many coastlines.
